This kid is ready to rumble.

Speaking to him he looked a bit bigger, wants to add a bit more and is ready to take the next step and be an important part of the midfield and up forward. He loves the club, recently signed a contract extention......

Is listed at 183cm and 70 kilo's at the RFC Website, looked more to be at least 186cm - (I am 183cm and had me covered) and at least 80 kilos - (biceps and shoulders more prominent).

Fit and Ready for a big 2007.

Well, he certainly has the skill. I'm hoping he can stand up too. Hasn't had a lot of the ball in the games that he played (had a bit of against Geelong). Early days for Danny, but this could be big year for him.

Re: Reason for Excrement

Well.....,
that's almost reason for excrement.

Tuck his jumper in and pull up his socks and he'd look the consumate player. Hope he's been working on his endurance. He's fast, but needs to be able to run longer in the midfield.

Wing best position, yeah?

He needs to do a preseason with Ben Cousins and take note of how much "running" a real midfielder does during a season and even during preseason ;) :p

If meyer gets big enough to play in the midfield, it could be a race between him and lids to see who wins the next tiger brownlow.

Okay maybe a bit optimistic, but in terms of sheer speed hes faster and probably has a little better skills than deledio, definitely more willing to go for the goals. Lids has more endurance and strength.

Yep Cousins is the example of "best practice" in hard running midfielders- best since Banger Harvey was in his prime a few years back. But they were skinny kids too when they started. The kid will be fine- his third pre-season coming up and if he does the right thing, works hard and the fitness crew know anything, he should really bulk up during the next few months.

He has the attributes you cant teach and thats why he's rated highly.

Needs time to develop his frame and he'll develop the confidence from that to get his own ball alot more.

cant wait.

I reckom he's goer.
I trust the powers that be. He showed in that Geelong game that he has the determination. He has the skills. If he can get the application right.. he's a Tiger legend for years to come.

I think for our 3rd or 4th pick we need to look at a ruckman, ATM the only ruckman on our list under 25 years old are Patto and Graham who is on the Rookie list and maybe if desperate Polak could help out in the ruck as well.

Jesse White would be a good pick in my opinion.

Can you clarify "at risk"? If you mean they didn't fit in to your team- fair enough. But I wouldn't think any of these are any risk at all with regards to their position on the list. In fact, I'd have all four in any Richmond team I put together from a full list.

the halfback/centreline is the most important imo, if they can all get their bodies right they will be the backbone of the club for many years
