Would be pretty ballsy to come out anywhere near it really. Certainly you'd think they'd try and come out earlier if anything, but good luck to anything with in 2 months either side.

Yep. Reckon we'll see a more packed August/September because of it. But someone surely had Oct 26th pencilled in for their game. Last year had Mario, AC & Wolfy 2 all on Oct 27th. But everyone major will steer clear of RDR2.

Can’t wait wonder what they will do with the online because they won’t give up on shark cards now

The biggest change will probably just be calling them Buffalo cards.

They better bring poker back I seriously spent so much in game time on that

I never once thought of this new release date as a delay. I’m sure the finished product is going to be incredible.

I hope to Christ they don't expect me to kill a mountain lion with just a knife

It was harder to kill one with a stick of dynamite than with a knife. With the knife you just circled, stabbed, and circled again. With dynamite unless you were throwing the sticks from a wagon seat only frustration would ensue.

Some leaks

According to the notes, Red Dead Redemption 2’s online component will feature ‘Battle Royale’, ‘Revive and Survive’ and ‘Money Grab’ modes.

It remains unknown whether Battle Royale will operate in a similar fashion to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or Fortnite, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Rockstar hopes to capitalise on the popularity of those two titles.

Revive and Survive pits two teams against each other as they try and stay alive. You’ll have a limited amount of time to revive your teammates before they are eliminated.

Finally, Money Grab features two teams fighting to procure bags of money in a central location. You’re expected to collect and return them to your base as quickly as possible.

Zero chance. It'll be epic, Rockstar don't half arse the campaign.
It's interesting to see how they operate in a post-GTA Online world though. GTA Online has steadily declined into a microtransaction fest with grossly inflated prices and they're making a killing off it. They already abandoned single player GTA V DLC because it was more profitable to make more Online content. I'm hopeful that you're right but Rockstar haven't filled me with confidence lately.

This is the same company that delayed the release of GTA online so people would play the single player, they won't skimp on it at all, it'll be a great single player game.
