Just bought this game yesterday and plan to install it today. Can anyone else with a PS4 tell me how long it takes roughly for the first disc to be finished with? That way I can plan the disc change around work and hopefully have it finished installing by the time I return home, thanks.

It took about 95min total for me and the first was about 50 minutes, but others have reported differently???

So many awesome little moments that I've had. Those make this game.

It can be a 'horse-riding simulator' at times, but the game forces exploration on you so you do encounter the little things the game has to offer.

Just wish they got rid of the 'follow X' and the forced walk moments.

Otherwise having an absolute blast. Amazing game.

Where can I leave perfect pelts? Does Pearson hold onto them?

Yep, once donated to Pearson these then will sit in a camp inventory attached to the recipes for upgrading items in Camp.
There's literally nowhere to find that out and one of the things that bugged the shit out of me.

Taking Marston jnr on a fishing trip should happen in Chapter one. It's one of, if not, THE games best moments.

I think that is a part of the game - they’re out doing their own shit just like Arthur is. Why do you think their names keep appearing in the ledger book?

Yep that happened to me too. There seems to be a few bugs in it.
That bloody 'zebra' that I 'put in it's cage' just stood there as Arthur closed the cage doors. The thing was empty as they rode off.

Only issues I’ve had so far are some character model bugs like the one I posted earlier when playing dominos. I’ve had Arthur’s arm spaz out and a few times NPCs have loaded in their t-pose and took a while to do anything. Nothing game breaking but definitely a little rough and unexpected from a Rockstar release. Probably just some evidence of the stressful development period.

So what is the point of hunting an animal, riding ages back to camp and donating it? I struggle to see the value in doing this.

Donating the meat keeps the peeps happy cos they have food. Your actions directly effect the entire camp. Also the skins (if you skin an animal) go towards upgrading the camp should they be perfect skins. It's a lot of work for not a great deal in return.

A hell of a lot of work.

I read the ledger in my game the other day and Micah (the dick) donated a feather. A single ****ing feather.
Yeah nah they're heaps busy.

True, I haven’t spent much time around the camp so I probably haven’t noticed tbh.

I think this game teaches patience....this is 1890s....

The whole collection thing ....its tedious at times but there's a point to it all
