I have a $185 bounty in Valentine now. Do people advise clearing this? Obviously it's a fair bit of money, but it's making it difficult going anywhere near the town now.

I robbed the shady practice at the back of the doctors joint and shit went down which is why it got jacked up so much.

Anyone chatted to the sheriff in Valentine to do Bounty Hunter missions?

Additionally, is there a specific horse people advise to use/get? I'm on a shire atm, and for the life of me I cannot see its stats improving despite patting/feeding/brushing/calming it constantly. Or is increasing stats a very slow process?

I've cleared low bounties on me just to avoid the nuisance value of them, I have one over me for the Strawberry incident though that I haven't bothered with yet as it's $220... I'll worry about that later I figure or just avoid that area till I have to

3 - The story. I don't like how the pacing and some of the gameplay has been substituted for constant filler dialogue and interactions to maybe create a sense of realism. It's all just character development so far yet I don't like anyone at the camp.

The gameplay is extremely slow and bugs me at times too. It forces you to follow or walk, when sometimes all the game needs is flat out action. I guess that's what GTA is for, they've gone for immersion and realism here.

Hey does anyone know how to revert your dead-eye to the original auto-mark and multiple shot mode? Once you upgrade it to a certain level it changes to a non-auto, one shot per activation kinda thing. **** that, I want the original mode but buggered if I can find an option for it.

I’d be in regret mode if I’d smashed out the story mode by now. I’d rather keep this baby going as long as I can and save the story for when I’m sick of side quests and exploring.

became a total prick without really trying and a maxed out bounty in nearly every county

is there any perks to having bad honour
there is a few cool outfits that i can't buy due too poor honour

Damn I think you're right. Quick peek through Google seems to indicate its just a progression/difficulty thing that can only be changed back with cheats enabled.

Check your horse items/cargo.

I didn’t have one either nor could find it until I checked all the items on the horse and there it was!

Has to be there somewhere and mine was in the horses items when not actually on me.

You can’t lose it cause it is given by the game nor can you drop it etc.

That moment you walk into a shop wanting to talk and sell some basic items and accidentally press the shoot trigger and head shot the shop keeper, then have to run out of town killing another 15 people on the way to safety.

$120 bounty for what would have been about $3 in sales, **** sake.

Yeah you can sell horses at stables, but you'll get minimum return if you don't have ownership papers.

I'm sure I tried that and everywhere else including Horsie Horse but I guess I must be tripping. Certainly added to the mood hunting the cougar in the cave in the dark. At least I was able to use a rifle!

Saw some blokes robbing a caravan lock box so I killed them so I could have it. A witness saw me so I had to chase after and kill him too, when I got back the caravan and lock box was gone but the bodies were still there. Seems the caravan just despawned as there was no horses on it.
