Just had a little accident pressing the wrong button was challenged to a shooting contest and started off okay then accidentally pressed a button to dodge and it made Arthur jump into him and the guy just lost it and started shooting me. I managed to kill him and get $12 off his body.

Played for two and a half hours today and only did one mission in all that time. Robbed a few camps, and broke into a few places.

Whoever said to lasso animals and then kill them is bang on. Did it to a goat and it was perfect pelt and meat. Obviously hard to do with quicker/bigger animals.

When you do the train robbing mission for John and you drop off the horse cart near the stables, climb down the ladder in that burnt out thing, there is $50 hidden in the wall in the back left corner.

Caught up with old mate Micah and had some fun. Also killed 3 O’Driscoll gangs. Set up to rob the train with John, but that’s Friday nights work. There’s a gang hideout in an old hut at the back of Valentine. I need to pay them a visit. Got my first fish as well. Go me.

Slightly off topic but surely the success of open world games in today’s market are making Bethesda and Projekt Red more importantly continuing for ever with Skyrim and The Witcher.

Serious money to be made for them and I would love another Witcher game and the latest Skyrim is at least 18Mths away.

My wife went and pre ordered the new Pokemon game today while calling me a nerd for wanting to play RDR

Was giving a woman a lift to town after her horse broke down. On the way I found a wagon, jumped up and there was a lock box, thought I better not loot it as it will upset her. Jumped down and as I did, Arthur ran into her and spear tackled her to the ground..... Had to kill her to so I could continue my HorseUber without bad reputation haha. There was canned vegetables in the box....

Spending an hour to head up to the snow and hunt a legendary white bison only to watch it sink to the bottom of the lake was not ideal.

Words of advice, DO NOT RUSH THROUGH THE STORY like I did... when you finish the game some stranger missions and random events lock themselves meaning I cant get 100% completion. I might restart and take my sweet time...

Just got on to chapter 4.. starting to move house tomorrow... so not going to get much chance to progress much further...

I'm not buying fast travel I don't think. I mean sure it would let me do more missions and stuff and I don't get a ton of time to game these days so it would probably be smart.

But I prefer not to teleport around the place in this game, that may change after I log a few more hours in the saddle, we shall see

It is a one way fast travel.
You can only use it from the camp to your destination. Once there you can't fast travel back.

Same thing when I'm hunting. Spend an hour stalking literally **** all then give up, jump on the horse and all of a sudden they're bounding across my path by the dozen. campaigners.

Are you sure? I've been following a trophy guide and there is no mention of this. From my understanding on a related note, there are only 4 missable trophies before completing Chapter 6 and 100% completion is still possible after the story.
