The most frustrating thing about dying is losing all your animal parts you've collected since your last save, especially if they're part of a challenge.

:o - It is brand new at Big W for $88 :thumbsu:
Yeh I bought it for $87 around release time. Pity the fool who buys that.

anyone know if the DLC is region locked?
Pretty sure. As with most. I've read at least a few threads with people having problems with it and the region you download it from / bought game from has come up a few times.

The Guinness World Record for non-stop gaming has been broken by six plucky Dutch gamers. Edward and Maykel Leest from Boxmeer and Hengelo, Sven de Vries from Lelystad, Renzo Bos from Baarlo, Robbie van Eijkeren from Middelburg and Marcel van Waardenburg from Amsterdam played Rockstar's western epic Red Dead Redemption for 50 hours straight to smash the record.

Just been busy. Lots of uni essays and trying to get some units through a stubborn council. Didn't want to be distracted.

Dang these Cougars are hard to kill with knives lol. Looks like it will be a good challenge getting the Platinum :)

enjoy brother, I'm a bit jealous of you; like I am of my brother who just started playing it :) :thumbsu:

To get the 100% do i have to help every single person in the game who asks for it when I ride by? I don't know if it is my imagination, but they seem to regenerate after I've helped them.

Same question for the night watchmen tasks. How many times do I have to do it in each area? Once?

His a list for the 'unnatural sellection' trophy. Mainly putting it here for my own reference:

Armadillo
Bear -Tanners Reach
Beaver - Northeast of the word Cochinay along the river. Also look south of Tall Trees in Bear claw camp (you have to zoom in real close to see the name, below Manzanita post).
Bighorn Sheep - Between Rattlesnake Hollw and Pleasance House
Boar - Can be found in pens at the most Nothern point on the map, in the snow mountains near an abandoned fort there.
Bobcat - Southwest Mexico, go to the bottom left corner of the map; around Escalera and Nosalida. Also found in the Northeastern part of the Great Plains.
Buffalo - Great Plains
Cougar - Southwest of Fort Mercer, Southeast of Repentance Rock
Coyote
Crow
Deer/Buck
Duck - South of Gaptooth Breach, west of the Scratching Post along the water line. Also found around Lake Don Julio.
Eagle - Tall Trees
Elk - Tall Trees
Fox - Tall Trees and Great Plains
Hawk
Horse - Wild
Owl
Rabbit
Raccoon - Must hunt at night as they are nocturnal, seen around Armadillo and packs in the Great Plains.
Seagull - Near Blackwater, you can hear its distinctive sound
Skunks - Around Armadillo
Snake - Found all over, be sure to listen for the rattle sound.
Songbird
Vulture - Kill something and they appear flying over the dead animal
Wolf

No to the first one, not sure about the second

You have to do 1 successful run of a watchmen task in each area that there is one. Don't have to do any of the world events (which is the people coming up to you) if you choose not to.

Basically it's finding all locations, getting all safehouses, getting all rare weapons, winning all mini games, beating all gang hideouts, getting to level 10 in all challenges, finding all strangers, bounties and getting each outfit. You can't complete all of these before finishing the story either, just FWIW.

OK cheers. Just about finished the strangers and level 10 challenges

That five finger thingy is going to be a bit of a prick to win at.

yeah it's a bit of a prick, but just work out the pattern, and DON'T look at the screen, look at the buttons; that's how I did it

What Lance said.

Do it enough times and you will memorise the sequence, for the record I did look at the screen only because I felt more comfortable doing it that way but was not paying attention to the buttons that popped up on the screen. Basically if you wait for them to appear and then press the button you will lose because you are doing it too slow.

Make sure you do the 5 finger fillet at ??? in the middle of mexico.
The name of the place will be listed in the outfits challenges & you need to win here to get a scrap of clothing (possible bandito)
That way you get the game win & scrap at the same time.

Apparently you can pull a gun on the first 2, or at least aim at them pre game & they run away so you only need to beat the 3rd guy. (first 2 are easy anyway)
I didn't find it THAT hard but still have as my PSN comment "F U 5finger fillet"
I didn't much enjoy it (took about 10 minutes) but I can see how some people have spent hours on it.
Apparently in some region the button sequence is messed up & you need to press something other than what is on the screen. That would suck.
I did it from a piece of paper anyway.

Nice pro tip. I'll give it a go.

I reckon this Dead Eye would have to be the best feature I've ever come across in a 3rd person shooter. It's sensational.

just finished it last night, great game..... definitely worth the 50 dollers i paid for it

last mission was too short imo, almost surprised they didn't try and make it a downloadable content campaign or something

Damnit, this is the second time I've come across a woman in distress and a pack of robbers, and I was too slow to press red eye and got ****ed over :(

You can always run away to mid distance then pick them off with your rifle.
