They got the wins in the first bit of the season due to Carey, Hunt & McSweeney & the win down in Tassie due to Sangha hitting 150 (even then they tried to throw it away and it took a brainfade from Meredith)… those 4 are all first-class batsmen. They’ve won games in spite of the fact McInerney, Lehmann, Scott & Nielsen are in the top 7, they are not near it and shouldn’t be in the team… like I said last week Scott can fight it out for a bowling spot.

With that batting line up they’re going to need to rely on another ’bizarro’ game like the WA match to ensue.

While I agree the talent is not great I still can’t see why they’ve gone with McInerney, Lehmann and Nielsen over at the very least giving Kelly, Harvey & Matthias games instead, after last week even Drew was a better option than McInerney & Lehmann.

I dont understand why Drew hasnt been given more of a go TBH.

Harvey is very much a basher, but we brought him over here to play 50 over cricket so we might as well have a look. Matthias I dont know much about, but Nielsens batting is poor.
