Siddons' approach was effectively Bazzball

Very aggressive, all batters with a huge backlit. It worked for some eg Travis Head but a lot of batters lost their way.

Interestingly it got rolled out all through the junior state squads too while Siddons was here and no batters have come through since

100% but I think the easy fix would be to go back to that four team (North, South, East, West) elite comp we had going that sat above District Cricket.

It doesn't have to be a full season and players can still stay aligned to District clubs.

Not ideal but I don't think the District comp will ever change.

Interesting they’ve made the point of specifically stating interim, either he’s not sure he wants the gig full time or their preferred candidate is someone they’re privately headhunting.

Would’ve personally sort out Wade Seccombe after he departed Queensland despite winning the BBL last season & 2 Shields in 17/18 & 20/21.

Harris was a fighter and one of Australia’s best ever quicks barring injury. Still think he’s better than the guys we’ve got. Can’t even talk about the batsmen…
