He had 1 mark, 1 kick and a goal for a half of footy. Of which was due to him not following his man and being one of 3 loose players deep in his forward 50.

He improved in second half but no where near their better players

Lucky for him the game goes for 4 quarters.

Looks a likely type does The Great Barrier. Has pretty good goal sense and decision-making ability. I think he might be a keeper.

Issue with Ollie is that even though he is an elite mark, he's slow and stuck in that tweener size so likely to struggle to take that next step to become truly elite.

Reef has both the height (194cm) and pace and showing surprisingly good aerial ability for someone I thought was a tall midfielder. He can genuinely become an elite x-factor Gunston type.

I still don’t get why all the talk is that they want McInnes to be a midfielder. Everything I’ve seen from him shows he’s got huge potential as a marking forward.
Agreed. He is a forward at this point and an exciting one, he hasn’t played midfield.

Fly said in his presser that he had been so impressive at training, they probably would have liked to put him in the 22, but the sub was the best they could do, had to reward him for such a great pre-season.

John “Jack” Anthony.

Reef had back issues when he was recruited which stifled his development. I am pleased with his progress and expect he will be a valuable asset for Collingwood for years to come. He certainly has the potential to be DeGoey-esq as a big-bodied mid who rotates forward. His marking ability is up there.

Reef has the skill set and explosiveness to be a tackle breaker attacker from the midfield and also do the same inside 50.... Pies need to get this kid as much opportunities as possible to expedite his development.
So what you're saying is..

Just play him

So assuming Frampton comes in next week for Howe, who makes way for McInness if he makes it into the 22? I actually think it should be Mihocek but don’t think that’ll happen
