Well technically your correct, the water licencing requiremts are more expensive when you dam a watercourse. But it is in the catchment of posted creek.

New dam finally spilled last night, 24mm was in the gauge so fortunately we didn't get the silly numbers others got (40 to 100mm) . so we are officially at full capacity of storage.
