Logan McDonald looks like a really quality player. Would love to do whatever we can to try and grab him after his Sydney deal is up (after the extension he signed). Him and Oscar Allen could be a really dangerous duo

Wonder why our strength and conditioning is shit, we have mass injuries and have lost a lot of staff. Combine our and freo's league leading amount of travel combined with those cost cuts, a rock hard training ground and stadium surface and it really is no surprise. Then combine that with the coaches still demanding and needing the same amount of running if not more (due to the stand rule) combined with limited rotations and the club really has had no opportunity at all to revamp our medical and S & C staff as those that are working for us are heavily underpaid, doing more work than even before and as much as people love footy they aren't going to take an AFL gig that pays less than half of what the private or even public hospital sector is paying.

AFL house really needs to pull it's head totally and completely out of it's ******* arse and club distributions should be even. The fact that 2 teams that have to travel twice the distance of any other each and every year are receiving millions of dollars less in distributions is a disgrace.

duck COLA and the players, the WA clubs and even the QLD clubs to a lesser extent should receive a medical and travel assistance allowance outside of the soft cap.

The only years the club has received above bottom two and normally last placed funding distribution from the AFL has been in grand final years and in relation to the stadium and club facility redevelopment.

Seriously the Eagles and Dockers pay more in dividends and royalties to the WAFC to support WA football than the national league does.

Footy department cap in general is bullshit. I understand the salary cap, but if we have 100k members and can't spend that money on actual football stuff then what is the point?
 
Watched that play in the WAFL where Fyfe had the chance to win it, was on 0.2 which didn't surprise me, was 45m straight in front, and I was like "watch the spud spray this"

And he did. Didn't even make the distance. I have no idea WTF he did.

Then Treacy marked the miskick and sprayed it even worse. Some piss poor defence from Subi allowed Treacy to have another crack and he nailed the winning goal, but **** me.

In short, Freo should keep that overrated kent Fyfe in the WAFL.

Glad Longmuir took one look at how our players return from injury, and thought "**** that" though.

In summary thats the AFL entertainment business, it is light years form being a rigerous uncompromised sporting competition.

As an aside the umpiring in the Swans Melbourne game was bazaar, worthy of any circus.
