Excellent.

It's a change that actually makes the team better too IMO.

No Brainer really, looked the obvious replacement for Goodwin especially after last weeks excellent form for Sturt. :thumbsu:

How do you figure that?

I think it weakens us quite a bit, given recent formlines for both players.

 Reilly was BOG in the SANFL last weekend and Goodie has been struggling with an injury for two weeks. I'm thinking Reilly's inclusion will strengthen us for sure. He's going to be hungry!

Reilly was NOT best on ground last week for Sturt - named 5th best (http://www.sturtfc.com.au/reports09/round10.htm), he ran of half back. Useful but not BOG by a long shot.
Depends whose review you read. Others had him clearly BOG.

Nice try by Sturt but to no avail it seems. I'm surprised Sturt didn't name his as worst on ground, say he looked troubled by injury, didn't go hard for the ball, average disposal... needs a few more weeks at SANFL level to regain form ;)

I was at the game, no way was Reilly BOG, and I don't think anyone at the game would disagree. He did go hard at the ball, sent one centrals player off (fairly) bleeding from a collision, and picked up a lot of touches taking the ball off the half back line. Mind you when you win by 85 points it's easier just to say 'All Played Well'.

Was good seeing Relly in the double blue, but it was just a cameo and don't think he'll wear it again. From a sturt POV rather see Dave Avery get a game in the league side, we've already lost too many kids who can't get a league game and have moved on.

Reilly OUT....again.

Does this come down to player management, or is Radar just susceptible to injuries?

It must be doing his head in no end! Out injured, then back in only to be injured again. Then makes the side only to be dropped for form, only to get a late reprieve due to another players injury, only to be dropped again to yet again come back in to cover an injury, only to injure himself again. :(

It's actually unusual for Reilly to suffer soft tissue (hamstring) injuries. Most of his have been impact injuries, such as the broken wrist he suffered last year.

He does have a knack of getting injured, but there's nothing consistent in the pattern of his injuries.
