Adelaide
Sydney
North Melbourne
Hawthorn
Fremantle

To be fair Riley Beveridge defended us. Highly likely Twomey hasn’t watched freo yet this season.

You listen to Twomey's phantom drafts, especially close to the real thing (as he gets info from recruiters). Everything else he says is a massive grain of salt. Hasn't demonstrated any significant analytical skill I've ever seen to make his opinion worthwhile on the general game.

We are a low profile team. The only way to change that is to have such a successful period that you gain enough credibillity and rusted on supporters to transform into a "big" team even when you go through a poor period.

Hawthorn went from basically being bankrupt and nearly forced into a merger to being a high-rating, crowd-drawing franchise on the back of sustained success.

Carlton have been diabolical for the best part of 20 years but they have a rusted-on supporter base from their previous decades of success. As a result they can still draw ratings even when they have trashed their "brand".

Hate Thursday and Friday night games generally, as we almost always have a 6 day break + travel

With us being in the hub and no travel, I'd be all for it. 6 day break is way less of an issue when you don't have to travel in a plane straight after, or have to worry about getting everyone right for a plan trip a few days after the game

Don't think it would, the broadcast guide for Adelaide v St Kilda next Monday suggests it's Fox coverage (Fox only in Vic)

If you ever needed a reminder of the dockers place in the AFL hierarchy - watch footy classified tonight. After one of the best wins of the season - we got 5 seconds of a mention from the panel. Literally every single other club gets more coverage, I mean WAY more coverage! The only way we get respect is to keep ****ing winning. Jeez I wish we had a fit list. I reckon we could send every team in the company packing if we played them at Optus this year with a fully fit side.

There's probably going to be a game every night except Tuesday in the near future and teams playing on 4 or 5 day breaks. So we'll probably play round 8 Monday night, round 9 Saturday, round 10 Thursday night.

I couldn't care less about prime time and I don't get the fascination with it. What do people seriously think is going to happen if we do get that bit of extra exposure? Let the Victorian teams fight over Thursday and Friday night games. Just give me my Saturday night games and I'll be happy.
