Is that right? I thought the Captain's previous jumper No. was left vacant while he wears the #17, and I'm sure Sugar wore 28 until he made captain. Maybe he'll be captain until he retires, but I thought that was the arrangement.

On another note, surely the new players are given a decent speel by the Club historian as to the history of their number (and indeed the Club) around this time - then maybe do a little presentation to the rest of the group on their # a few weeks later. Sounds like something TW might like. Then again, he's coach and I'm not so I'll leave fostering pride in the jumper to him...
