Where were our opposition from though? I don't know why the idea of a neutral game is so hard to understand for some people.
If Sydney plays a scratch match between two randomly selected teams from their list at the SCG, does 1 team hold a competitive advantage?

Don't bother as they just do not understand this logic.

Not travelling, sleeping in your own bed, getting into your own car, parking in the same spot, playing in familiar environment, basically having the same training and game day routine 7 weeks in a row in the most fatiguing part of the regular season.......it isn't much of an advantage. Ok

cut the genuine home advantage bulls**t. there's no denying the tigers have the best preparatory conditions in the latter half of this season to make an assault on the premiership.

and it's not a knock on the MCG being their home ground. just don't deny that playing every match at the same home venue for just about 2 months or 14 or so matches over the season there is a welcomed quirk of the fixture for richmond.
So where should Richmond play it's home games?
Given that Richmond playing 10 home games (your game gets to play 11) at the MCG and 1 at Docklands, How is the fixture quirky? How are we different to any other MCG tenant?
Please link to you posts complaining about how unfair it was that Richmond only playing 6 of it's first 16 at home. Or was that OK?
Given that Richmond play only 10 home games at our home ground it way too many, how many should they play? 6? 2?
Should there be further rule changes to 'bring Richmond back to the pack'. Should the opposition be given 10 goal head starts? Would that make you feel less victimised?

No one used to complain about MCG tenants because historically it's actually been a disadvantage. Richmond weaponised their MCG game plan, and entitled supporters from other clubs have never stopped whinging since.
This is a bit rich coming from a Swans supporter. No club has ever been given bigger advantages or won premierships on a less even playing field than the Swans.

So the answer to this is to fold 8 Victorian clubs. Is that what you're suggesting?

I don't think Interstate supporters are suggesting that, that would be a travesty. I think acknowledgement that The Big 4 Vics get a decided advantage over Interstaters in finals is the key here. Imagine if you will, Fremantle not travelling for 18 or so games and the last seven at home.....Jeez they might even have a cup by now.

They’d have to play about 12 games against you for that to happen, not sure they would.

2 of the last 7 were home games for Collingwood and Melbourne. Where do you suggest we play them?

According to Richmond fans, the umpiring is atrocious.
But also according to Richmond fans, umpire performance is soley measured by free-kick count - hence why "[Insert team] are given a ride each week because [Insert free-kick count]".

The free kick count stands at 11-11, so what is it? Could it be, perhaps, that free-kick count has no strong correlation with overall umpiring performance?
Interesting observations...
no actually
where the frees are paid, or not paid, counts more
the 'not 15' bullcrap that gets paid sometimes
the marks not paid

you're just being a flog for flogs sake

It’s been scientifically validated in statistically robust sleep studies that jet lag (fatiguing changes to human circadian rhythms) are more pronounced when flying EAST.
That the Eagles have had to push s**t up hill in this regard and still win premierships is a testament to this club. It has always set the bench mark for the comp.
As for the umpires, my subjective opinion is that they are cheating VFL campaigners. But hey, that’s not statistically valid.

Did anybody hear a flog richmond supporter named Rob ring in on Wheatleys show about 1 hour ago? LMAO. Geez i hope the tigers come crashing down this September.
