wats everyones thoughts on us vs richmond?
personally i think we can pull out a win, but not by alot. Rich vs Carl are always close. should be a cracker

I'm a bit worried too. Richo, Brown, Ottens and Bowden can all put in good games. Also they have more height than we do.

Still, Fev will play well, but will get tagged. Likewise Campo. Larnce still hasn't found his form, despite what people thought last week. Kouta will be interesting to watch as he did some good things in the last quarter. Thorton on Richo can be dicey, maybe Pag's should put Larnce down there. Interesting to see who we're gonna get to tag Brown. Look, we just won the game last week against a depleted Hawks and our team was pretty much full strength (though French and Sporn are both good players)...The Tige's looked good in the first half against freo, but Freo are a quality side, and they smashed us in the first round. They will be pumped just as much as the Hawks were against us, so it'll be a tough match. If they get a break and Richo fires we'll get thumped. But if we bottle them up I think the oppostie. It's imperative Carlton wins decisively if we are top prove we're a rising force in the second half of the season. We have a few good opportunities against over-rated teams like Swans, Geelong, Roos, Freo and Collingwood to notch up even more wins, and if their confidence is up the odd upset or two.

Thornton has beaten Richo almost every time he has played on him. He seems to be able to get under his skin and make him spit the dummy which is good for us. Stop Richo and we are half way there. T-bird is definately the man for the job.

Stop brown and you are half way there. Stop Richo AND Brown and we should win. Not sure how we'll stop Brown though....maybe Norman - he did a great job on Matera. Any other thoughts on this as I reckon this is our toughest match-up?

Don't know about full strength - Waite and Kouta were both underdone - both players will be better this week. As you mention French and Sporn are both important and Hulme is still to come back, although I bagged him before the Coll game he just started to show abit before he got injured. Whitts has turned the corner (IMO) and will fire against the Tiges. Who are they going to put of Fevola?

Agree. Except Geelong are probably better than you are giving them credit for. They are one of the genuine improvers this year (IMO).

Blues by 18pts because we finish games better than Richmond.

Cheers.
