First of a few of our 8 point games this week.

Who are we going to play on Richo ?

First though is Schuable would be a good fit. But injured and out of favour.
Bolton beat him a while ago, but isnt he too short?
Leo Barry, again too short and is exposed by big ff's like Richo,Gehrig
LRT - Not experienced enough.

Not an easy selection.

Hope we have J.Bolton back.

Give Leo first dibs. It'll be decided in the first 20 minutes - either Richo kicks two or three early goals, and he'll have a field day... or he'll get outmarked once or twice, and he'll be a ticking time bomb.

Time Bomb! Time Bomb! So much fun to watch him throw tantrums.

for your sake not the poor bas%^^& that played on him at the SCG last year

It would like to see CBolt take on Richo. I don't think he's too short, plus he relishes a challenge.

But realistically, Leo will get the task, I suspect. None of our backline are huge, but they are very mobile. And Leaping Leo has earnt his nickname for a reason. That's where I'm putting my money.

Well, that's my two cents worth... :)

Just like Sydney will destroy Richo every year yeah?
Swans dont have anyone good enough to match up on him
See you all at the g on saturday :D

I am sure you're big guns will be out on Saturday, the likes of: Pettifer, Newman, Tivendud, Hilton...all stars among the star studded at Punt Road!

I was at the MCG for the Rd 22 game against your wooden spooners last year. I recall vividly that we killed Richo and we thrashed your pathetic team. I cant wait to see the same again this weekend.

Take Newman out of that list.

well if you could not kill a 16th team last year something is wrong. Were alot better off now however saying that were still rebuilding.

The way Richmond are now playing, we might be killing the 16th placed (wooden spoon winning) team of 2005. :p

Win or lose our Young Players are miles better than anything you have in the wings.

Ages:
J. Ball, S. Maxfiled, P.Williams - 32
M. Nicks - 30
Schuable, B.Kirk - 29
Hall, Barry, Crouch, O'laughlin - 28
Matthews - 27
Saddington - 26,
Mid twenties and in their prime - Goodes, Bolton, Davis, Bolton.

You don't have a Premiership side and the clock is ticking. See you on Saturday.

I am sure you appreciate that is a pretty lame comeback. "We won't win now, but things should be good at some point... just look at how high they were picked in the draft!".

On the contrary, I was replying to someone saying that when we were winning all was fine and now that we're not we're just rebuilding.
We are rebuilding and will be for many years.

Just watched last years game at MCG. We double teamed Richo all day. Schaubs behind and Leo in front. It worked a treat. Suggest we will need to do it again as he is the danger man.

Means they will have a spare man in defence but I think we have more options to goal and can overcome that. They may double team BBBH in any case.

These spring chickens have got me worried big time:
Campbell, Graham - 32
Richardson, Stafford - 30
Gaspar, Kellaway - 29
Chaffey - 28
Bowden, Brown, Johnson - 27
Simmonds, Hilton, Tivendale - 26

Plus, Schauble is 28, Crouch is 27, Mathews is 26 and Saddington is 25. Nice inflation of numbers there.
