Presti easily.
Destroyed Reiwoldt in Round 3 until he went off. I hope Reiwoldt plays. They're FAR more predictable when Reiwoldt is there, as we showed when we were leading for 3 quarters.
I think we're a btter chance if Reiwoldt IS there than if he isn't. Especia considering he'll need match fitness too.

Disagree with the first part, agree with the second.
I think Riewoldt has shown over the last couple of years that he is more than a match for Presti one on one. The advantage the Presti had in round 3 was that Harry O, Maxwell etc were helping double and triple team Roo.
This is what I'm worried about when we play again in 2 weeks. The Pies spent a long time coming up with a plan to kill our forward zone and it was working really well. When Nick went off at half time the Saints took a quater to sort themselves out and then managed to use the unpredictability of our forward entries to our advantage in the last.
With Roo back I'm worried that the Pies will be able to fall back on their original plan of smothering him (and you know the Saints will kick it to him to get him back into the game) and it will work as it did in round 3.
At the same time though, can we really afford to leave our best player out if he is fully fit? It's a tough call and maybe the coaching staff have something up their sleeve. Playing Riewoldt on a wing would be an interesting move I think.
Going to be a massive game either way![]()
by Reiwoldt, similar to the ones he received in the previous 2 games and the PF against the Dogs. They shouldn't DARE play Reid on Roo.
If Reid can't keep with with Cam Mooney, how in the blue flames of HELL could he keep up with Reiwoldt?

No one. There is no way a man who tears a muscle, never mind a major one like a hamstring off a bone can come back 10 weeks later. Running full intesity is one thing at training, but under AFL intensity with contact, constant turning, kicking and what not all that is going to happen is he is going to injure it again. So i kinda hopes he plays so he might not par take in september and we have better chances. But at the same time the man is a freak and a joy to watch![]()
As i said there is no way he can be back playing at AFL intensity.Josh Gibson played at Boxhill the last weekend...
And I agree with Shpeshal Ed, we are in some serious trouble if Reid goes to Riewoldt, he is nowhere near that level at the moment. It was only a couple of weeks ago we were trying our best to find a place to hide Reid from the beating J.Brown was dishing out.
He has improved markedly, but his defensive skills still leave a lot too be desired. Our best defender will go to their best forward, why would anyone expect anything different?
And the game absolutely will have a bearing on the finals, Collingwood will aiming to do absolutely everything in their power to win every game left in the year. Which do you think we'd prefer, finishing 1st and getting Fremantle at home in the first round of finals, or finishing 2nd/3rd and coping Geelong or St.Kilda.
We won't be ****ing around and experimenting in this game, we'll be in it to win it let me assure you.
