The above link shows that the problems in the Australian cricketing establishment are only increasing with John Buchanan launching a savage public attack on the selectors for dropping Steve Waugh.

until this all blew up, I thought Australia were certainties to cream South African in this series, but all this seems to have destablised the team very badly for the time being. It all adds up to a very interesting tour.

Mmmmmm, this is not good....

This will disrupt the side, I think it was poor timing by the selectors and though some felt Waugh had to go, I would not based it on one bad season.


Without Buchanan being consulted is not a good thing as he needs to prepare the new skipper and as coach, he is entitled to the selectors thoughts.
