Puig always had the talent. just never took the step up until now. what a tournament by her. to knock out Mug, Kvitova and then Kerber is outstanding.

Well done Puig replay is on 7two now.
In the mens DP definitely deserves it and hope he wins. While his body is still holding up. Not that Murray wouldn't appreciate winning gold it's just that DP looked headed for retirement due to injuries. For him to win this would be sensational!

Had his opportunities but was tentative at the wrong times. Will take a lot from this week though. Hopefully gets a reasonable draw at the US Open.

Awesome stuff Andy. Wanted del po to win but Andy is a champion and who knows, he could get to number 1 the way he's playing. Gotta be favourite for the us open you would say.

Pretty mad last couple of days. the Rafa/Del Potro match was epic and then Delpo's fight in the final when he had nothing left in the tank has got to respected. But Well Done to Andy, he's just too solid right now.

It may've taken a while. But I think tennis has entrenched itself as a serious competition. I get the impression that the big guns may take it as priority over the US Open in the future. Djokovic won't be crying if he gets beaten at any stage during that tournament.
