RIP Peter Ryan

Sad news for The North Melbourne Football Club.

Peter Ryan passed away yesterday after a brave fight against a very debilitating disease.

For those Melbourne based supporters you may not know who Peter was.

Peter was part of the Roo's support in Perth. Peter would greet them at Perth airport and do what ever was required and asked of him to assist them during their stay in Perth.

Great Clubman and a terrific bloke.

The framed signed jumper that Archer wore in his games record game hung proudly in Peter's home. It was at personal gift from Arch to Peter, they were good mates.

Peter has left a wife and two young kids so thoughts go to Karen , Adam and Hayley.

North you have lost a good one.

I endorse these remarks. I did not know Peter, but it is all the more sadder when it appears he was a young man with a young family, who will now have a long journey without him.

Very sad news, as it always is when we lose one of our own, especially one as committed to the cause as Peter was. Awful news for his family. Our deepest sympathies go out to them all.

Was he the guy who used to own that massive Mansion in WA that was decked out in Kangaroos paraphernalia? Remember it had a massive North logo on the garage etc.

Somebody posted pictures of it on here before it was sold.
