RIP Shane Tuck

Just floored by this news.
A player who battled to get himself onto an AFL list to start with, then battled to get into the senior side, then became a huge favourite for many of us through his guts, grit and determination rather than natural athletic or footy gifts.

2020 continues its bizareness.
RIP Tucky.

Truly heartbreaking news. Shane was everything a Richmond player should be, absolutely fearless and like me my daughter just loved him. She still has a picture of him on her wardrobe door. God its going to be tough telling her the sad news when she comes home. RIP Shane.

Just tragic, as a younger fan I really started getting into footy when he joined the club and he was one of my favourites.

I always found it so inspiring the way that he, under the shadow of his father and not blessed with exceptional skills that some others are, just gave it his all and managed to have a bloody impressive career. Such an honest and humble player & bloke

Oh this is bloody shit news.
Like many of you have said, Tucky epitomized that warrior spirit in a period where there wasn't too much to get excited about.
Smashing packs with his head down.. couldn't hear much but he kicked straight. Sad we couldn't get a cup for him.
I hope he felt the love from the Tiger faithful. Deep condolences to his family and friends.
