I think it would be good during the off-season and with things like Trade Period and the National Draft, who of our rivals have improved and by how much and who could have gone backwards list wise.

Really obvious one TB is Brisbane especially if they get the Neale trade done.. Building nicely

Will interesting if they get the Neale deal done. I think they are one who are improving.

I’ve thought the Bulldogs looked good at the end of the year, their B and F results was fascinating with how young their top ten was. Getting a Wingard would probably be great.

Will be an interesting period.

North Melbourne if they land Gaff, Martin, Heeney, etc

Brisbane will go close to making the 8.
Reckon Blues will improve too if they get Shiel, Setterfield and McGovern and keep pick 1.

West Coast for me..

Gaff and Niknat will be back in that side playing finals as will Tim Kelly

and shephard.. Apart from le Cras and JK, their age profile of their list is pretty good. Although having said that, not sure about NN coming back next year. Still they'll be right in the thick of it again

Shemons for me. I tipped them for top 4 this year, and if they didn't shit the bed against the Saints, that's where they'd be.

Almost perfect list profile, and if they get May, look out. Lever back halfway through. So back half is set with Jetta and Hibberd as well.

Hogan will be a loss, but I really like the look of Weiderman.

And in the guts you've got Clarrie, that flog is a weapon.

They will finish top 4 next year.

West Coast now with Gaff staying, Kennedy fully fit and maybe picking up Kelly as well, they will be the Team to beat next year. Their only problem is in the Ruc, Lycetts out the door and NicNats missing half the year. Vardy and possibly Tom Hickey (from the Saints) will be their Ruc duo

Melbourne are after both May and Kolodjashnij from the GS, just waiting/wanting to push Hogan off to Fremantle. If that deal gets done and adding Lever back there, damn Demons look strong.

If West Coast cant make a deal with Geelong for Kelly I can see him over at Fremantle instead. Dockers could get Lobb, Hogan, Kelly and Conca by the end of this trade period. They'll lose Neale to Brisbane but getting Kelly will help cover some of that damage.

Brisbane getting Neale, McCarthy and Cameron back from injury will be big improvers too

Carlton has, will, and always shall aspire to new levels of NEAFL fueled dudness

I've watched a fair bit of the Doggies, with family members who support them.

Their game against Carlton in Rnd 6 this year is perhaps the single worst game I've attended live - and as a long time Richmond member, I've seen plenty of shit games.

They routinely fielded the youngest team of the round throughout 2018. I reckon they'll be better in 2019, with or without Wingard. If they do pick up Wingard, he'll have plenty to prove and will really add something.

WC - their new stadiums dimensions have made them a genuine threat at the G. Undefeated at the ground in 2018 which we can't claim

Dees - All of their best players haven't peaked yet

Pies - will be around the mark again

Essendon - their best can beat anyone. Expect them to improve next year

Breaking news - Shiel doesn't want to go anywhere near that dank, urine-soaked hellhole.

So, Setterfield is what they have. From the GWS profile of him:

"The on-baller averaged 25 disposals, one goal, 7.6 tackles and 4.7 clearances in his seven NEAFL matches"

Sam Lloyd, in a stronger competition, averaged 24 disposals, 1.4 goals, 5.2 tackles and I can't find clearances stats.

God bless SOS. His always been a funny buggar.

I think you will find Shiel has chosen the Dank hellhole.

Unfortunately, I can see Essendon improving and playing finals in 2019.
Melbourne have a real shot at top four.
Brisbane are doing everything right but will finish 9-12.
Norf with their big name recruiting of Martin, Kelly, De Goey, Gaff and Heeney will probably be minor premiers.

Hahahahaha! We can't even use n o r f on our own board!
