i was at the game tonight and was really upset to see rivers get injured! he has so much potential and i hope he doesnt miss too many games. does anybody know how bad his injury really is?

He was having a laugh on the post game coverage and the consensus was that it wasn't too serious. Allows for Biz or Ferg to come back in next week.

Hes got 2 weeks to recover fully so hopefully he'll be good for Rd. 1
DO you think he'll be fit for Rd. 1? If it was a hyperextension which is what has been suggested I think he should be good to go.

Yeh he should be alright, no excuse for Danners to rush him back at all.

hopefully he'll be right he has bulked up alot particularly legs/hips so he should be alot better this year in body-on-body contests, as well as being good in the air like we know he can be

Just watched sports tonight. Apparently there's a chip in a bone in his elbow. That sucks. Scans on ligaments still to be done. Any guesses now?

4-6 weeks they reckon. Like he said in today's Herald Sun, it was just as well he did it in the preseason where he's got weeks to recover, rather than it happening in the middle of the year, where he would definitely miss b/n 4 and 6 weeks, where (hopefully) now, he might miss 1 tops.
