It is an inflammation or tear of the tendon in the bottom of the foot. It is the tendon you can stretch out by rolling the arch of your foot on a tennis ball.

It is a very tough tendon, but unfortunately if it is torn can take a long time to heal. Not suggesting that is what Corey has done. Even if he has strained it I would expect he will miss at least one more.

Yeah its a very awkard injury. Even a small tear can take a while to heal. Im not entirely sure this is what he has done, but if it is he could miss a few games. Its more of a basketball injury than a footy one though.
