obviously geelong has spent most of the last 20 years smashing us, but smashing us with 2020 draftees Max Holmes and Shannon Neale being key players is certainly a new, annoying, way to smash us

I don’t want to even think about the fact there is a chance we ****ed up 2020, 2021 and 2022 first rounders…that’s another whole saga…

Hopefully the loss that gets a few ‘older’ players thinking about asking for a trade. Parish, McGrath, Redman, Ridley, heck even Merrett now know they aren’t winning a final let alone a flag with us. We should be encouraging it and helping it by asking for nothing and even paying some wages.

Couldn't care less about the 'kids' making mistakes, that's how you learn, within reason, but some of the howlers from Gresham, Merrett, Xavier, McGrath, Perkins and Martin were unforgivable. And I'm sure I'm missing a couple there.

Another big off season coming up for Rosa.

Obviously the cupboard is pretty bare at the moment, but we need to continue to clear out the deadwood and continue to use this season to see what pieces fit where. Was never going to be easy dismantling years of shit decisions across the board.

Again, a lot of senior players have been awfully exposed as frauds.

Footy is a strange addiction. The pain we put ourselves through is pure masochism. There was nothing enjoyable in watching that last qtr and yet I saw it through. The young blokes were spent. The senior blokes were clueless, and the Cats did as they pleased. It’s like Dodoro was planning this all along - a slow, painful eviscerating, torture to Essendon fans. What did we do to deserve this Dodo?

Perkins and McGrath have had enough chances. If we can get picks CHIPS for them they are gone, surely.
