Might also mean we have faith in our shufflability. Phillips is named on the extended bench far too often relative to exposed form, which suggests that Kreuzer is playing sore, and might be a week-to-week proposition. Against that, we obviously have to balance the imperative of getting games into our reserves players (who seem to have a bye every third week).
So I think it's good. Even if (purely for the sake of argument, not because I have any reason to believe it will happen) Kreuzer was a late out, presumably Casboult becomes first ruck, Jones plays CHB, and Cottrell gives us an extra runner. Not ideal, but not unworkable, and very probably better than denying another second-tier player a VFL game.

Walters is frightening
Maybe Murph or Fish on Walters.
Or maybe we just throw caution to the wind and let them worry about us.
If we can get to the ball first and get first use it will go a long way to us competing with them.
Get to the ball first, more chance of drawing frees etc.
Get led to the ball all day, get smashed

Garlett has talent, no doubting that. But does he have it mentally, that’s one thing none of us know. Given where our list is at, I hope he has it.
Pickett had more football talent in his little toe than most/all of us, but didn’t have the will or want.

IMO he's one of those players that needs an extended run in one spot. Like to see him come in for the rest of the year as a small forward. Had his first pre season and is fit but also only played 30 games. Given a consistent run at it he may shine

Couldn’t agree more, the part I’m struggling with given our healthy list is who does he displace out of today’s squad?

Walters is a real problem. No doubt about it.
I'd send SPS to Walters. Tell him to shut him down then try to expose him the other way. Worth a crack.
I don't like Mundy on Murphy. Setters to Mundy. Tell him to learn. Mundy is pretty much the player I think Setters could become.
Maybe let Walsh/ Obrien go head to head with Hill.
And yes. Ed needs to go to Fyfe. Shut down Fyfe and its a huge step to winning the game.

To be accurate I'd have to add months and days as well. I'm not a huge fan of those 2 stats as the outliers completely corrupt it.
It's not as though Simpson is twice the player Fyfe is due to games played or Mundy compared to Cripps. It kind of gives a false impression as to age and experience of a side.
The age group breakdowns are far better IMO. I could probably colour code those.
