are you sure this isn't just damage controlAw shit, don't worry guys, I don't actually think this. I was just proving a point to a friend.
I'm serious I love Robbie <3 Frustrating at times but not roast worthy.

Terrible thread. Robbie's shown massive amounts of his natural talent and vision in play. Sure, he's not been finishing great so far this year, but I'm pretty happy to cut him some slack given the severity of his injury. I'm more than happy to wait to see how he kicks on next year after a full pre-season.
Could very well be our most talented and valuable player.

Eeerr - No.
Wingard, Boak, Ebert are well ahead.
And Wines and Lobbe by next year.
Robbie is a Gemini I think. He can be brilliant or hopeless.
He has been like that since his first game against the Hawks in 2007. A bloody good mark especially overhead, smart, fantastic hands, especially in stoppages, can read the play well, hard at it, but his body has been suspect, struggles to kick over a jam tin, misses too many easy goals for a small forward, slips over too much - has to wear long sprigs, has got into a bad habit of looking for option 5, option 10 etc instead of the first one and his knee injury means he will struggle with pace and acceleration around packs and scrimmages.
He could be an All Australian and be a regular match winner and all those comparisons with Ablett would be accurate if he cuts out the errors and nails his opportunities.
From Rd 10 2007 to Rd 17 2013 he has played 82 of a possible 142 games. I hope 2014 is a bigger and better year after a proper full Burgo preseason, but with a knee injury there is no guarantee he will ever reach the output of pre injury.
Not sure if I should be grossly offended, mortified or agree...................being a..............![]()

Probably a but harsh. He's certainly missed some gimmes this year, but he kicked 30.13 in 2011, 18.12 in 2010, and 30.19 in 2009.
this thread sucks.... no way does Gray deserve a thread like this
In a part of the game against the St.'s, he was sprinting after someone in the last qtr and it looked like he was still carrying that injury, to me he looked like he had a prosthectic leg on ..... the guy cant sprint, and he cant kick accurately because of that injury.....having said, he is has the smarts over all in our team at the moment which is what is keeping him the best 22, and fair enough...
I hate to say this, its time to trade or we give him more SANFL time to get that leg right....
To me, its similar to a car that has a accident, been repaired, but never drives like it did before prior to the accident..... what do you do.......bare with it or trade it...
Prior to his injury, when I first saw him I rated him as an Abbletésk and was extremely happy that we have him, unfortunately this injury will not get him to that level who is struggling to keep his spot now....
I hope that he improves as goes to the next level....... fingers crossed for the bloke.
^ Wow. I actually thought he did surprisingly well in that chase and was pleased to see him put in the big ones. From memory it was against Steven who has serious toe and class.
