now for his replacement....

i vote nick smith

obviously a much taller centre half forward who will work alongside miller

lets realli stretch a shortish sydney defense that are missing shauble and criag bolton

Not ready for AFL football and IMO no chance to come into consideration.

Possible IN's: Jamar, Johnstone, Ward, McLean, Bell.

1 or maybe 2 to come in. Jamar needed most as backup to White with a strong Sydney ruck division.

It'll come out of that lot you'd reckon.

For mine:

In: Jamar, Ward & TJ (if fit)

Out: Robbo (Susp), Rigoni & Broadbridge.

Whoppa stays we'll need his run.

Let Bell, McLean, Armstrong & Heffernan play against a strong Werribee team this weekend, if they dominate again then Robbo, Vards & TJ will really have to fight for their spots in the team.

In. McLean, Jamar
Out. Robbo, Broadbridge

(Doubt TJ will be fit)

Make Wardy earn a recall - our defence is playing better without him and he will be lacking match fitness. If he plays well for Sandy then I'd bring him in against Carlton.

well jamar is an obvious choice a agree and broadbridge is an obvious person for him to replace

also rigoni didnt play half bad on the weekend

i'd keep him and bring in mclean perhaps for robbo

Broady will play. Did you all not see that last quarter. The break away on the wing, the 70 metre dash and pin point pass to Neitz, the graceful yet ingenious tap to set up another goal 5 minutes later?!

Rigoni and Walsh's spots are more vulnerable especially if Ward and Johnstone come in.

In: Ward, Johnstone

Out: Robertson, Walsh

I went for Rigoni over Walsh simply because I think we need Rigoni more.

Left out Jamar. White if hes fit should be able to handle the full game. Broady, Nicho, Holland or even Neitz can be used sparingly if he needs a rest.

Carroll would be an interesting inclusion. He killed Hall last time they met and even if played off the bench would give us the oppurtunity to release a tall into the ruck to help White without robbing the back or forward line.

neitz will never go in ruck with him needed at full forward and broady dun have the height or strength

sydney has probably the best ruck division with goodes and ball

i dunno who we will have to run with goodes when ball goes into the ruck

That's why he can't be dropped. He can play on Goodes or he can play on Fosdike he's that versatile.

He has the height, pace, mobility, athleticism, skill, smarts and defensive pressure to match it with Goodes, and the attacking flair to make him accountable by doing some damage himself.

Show some faith.

Now that Riggers and Broady have been picked it would be a waste to drop them after one game. They have to be given a chance to perform over a couple of weeks. My guess is just the one change, Robo out for either Jamar or McLean, depending if they want a running player or another tall. I'd give Ward and Johnno a game for Sandy to make them earn their spot.

NO WAY JOHNSTONE

did you see him carve up teh western bulldogs?

definatly commands a spot

ward...i dunno depends whether he or walsh is mroe valuable to the team

broadbridge on goods would be an interesting one

too be honest i can only think of white keeping a close eye on him in ther middle and dropping down back when he goesforward

if goodes p;ays as a key forward then rivers or bizzel or wheatley......nicho will be held up with hall

The changes are:

In. Jamar, TJ, Armstrong
Out. Robertson, Broadbridge, Walsh

Not too bad... but why on earth did they pick Broady to play Port, give him 30 minutes of game time (where he did quite well), and then drop him again???

Brock is unlucky.

I agree with your comments on Broady, perhaps they feel he needs to work on his fitness more?
Grats to Jamar!! Go get em Russian!!

jamar will be helpful with releif ruckwork

this might also give white a chance to go forward and realli stretch the sydney defense

Ya reckon? I thought he was much improved against the Dogs but carve them up? Not for mine. He's been nowhere near his 2002 form this season but he's still handy on a flank.

Armstrong has to take this chance, with Davey firing & Thompson stepping up his work rate must lift this season.

Good to see Russian get his chance, has the mongrel in him to go with the Swans talls.

Walsh & Broadbridge are dead stiff especially Whoppa his run thru the lines was evident last week, great sign.

ND has sent a clear message already, get suspended & you're stuffed. Ward was playing well but he goes back to square 1 now, hope the team take note.

Overall I think players are really having to earn their spots this season, credit to ND for that.

we are overflowing with reasonable small defenders

brown, ward, walsh, whelan, williams

brown is obviously the best of em in my opinion especially with his gam against port and whelan probably second

the rest all work hard aswell

i think that armstrong deserves a run for atleast a few games

i hope he doesnt get dropped next game to make way for robbo or ward.....like broadbridge did

I reckon Ward will have to work as hard to get back in as Armstrong did & that's a good thing I reckon.

Robbo might be handed his spot back, but he won't last long unless he's able to put team sucess ahead of his own.
