We're actually lucky with him working at this club, because he is one of the greatest and classiest players of the modern era.
All those players who have brought the club into disrepute with their alcohol (or other off-field mayhem) over the last week should take a page out of Harvey's book on how to conduct themselves as a professional footballer and a great bloke away from footy.
I would argue that a big part of Harvey's longevity as a player was that he always looked after himself with regards to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and not 'indulging' in massive drink-binge sessions (which is a great reflection on his character considering that when he started at St.Kilda, they still had that wild party culture, which was prevelant of the Saints at that time)
If the club can use Harvey as a positive influence on some of the trouble makers on the playing group, and especially the young kids coming through then it will go someway to help 'repair' the tainted booze-loving culture that has prevelant at this club for several years now.
