Would think Stringer would get a game ahead of GHS next week, wouldn't you?

GHS, from what I saw, didn't provide a lot in yesterdays game while Stringer gave me a bit of the Christensen feel from last year where he would come on and straight away get into the game.

I'd like to see Duncan get a break, and then return via VFL.

Regain a little form. I thought he was struggling late last year then rallied in the GF. How old is he, 20? He has played a fair amount for someone not yet 21.

As much as I hate to say it (because I really like the kid) I have to agree with you Reg. I personally felt that he was not working hard enough. He is very good with the ball but when he does not have it he is substandard to say the least.

He did not look like he wanted to lay a tackle or chase an opponent. The defensive side of his game is lacking. He needs a spell in the VFL to work on his game.

He's got a bit of Maxy about him

Early call, long way to go before he can be mentioned in that company.

But yeah, his attack on the ball and the ball carrier is very good, one of his major selling points.

Hopefully he can play a full game this week.

That was disappointing for me, because I thought he was one of only a few blokes who was prepared to do the hard things against North.

Quite happy, tackling especially.

I still think he's probably not going to hold his spot when Kelly et al are back, but he's well on the way to another contract (i.e. elevation to senior list at the end of the year).
