I think one good strategy is to take an undervalued mid like Swallow, Griffen, Steven??, even Dangerfield who should make good coin early and make sure you have some cash left over to do that sideways trade. I don't think Pendles is the right plan only because he's a monty top 5 midfielder and should remain in your team. Some other meh type players would be a good jump if people aren't looking at starting the champ

No-one is going to leave 220k in the bank. They won't make coin until Round 3 and even then, by the time they mature enough to do an 80k sideways trade it will be round 8 or 9.

Yeah 130 is a reliable benchmark. <120 don't take, 120-130 consider, >130 bank it.

I'll take anything 120+. Would stongly consider 115+ but i know i would roll the dice because I'll have lots of options still.

JPK looks like a really good pick for VC. Has form against the Bombers plus it's been raining cats and dogs up in Sydney (and Sydneysiders have the nerve to complain about our weather).
