I was a little concerned about Parramatta this season, I thought with the loss of Hayne that we may take a step or two backwards, but from what I've seen so far tonight, we are a genuine chance of the top 8 this season. We are still a little suspect out wide, but we look solid in the middle and we look very good with ball in hand. I don't think we can compete with Souths and the other big guns, but we should be more than competitive against everyone else. In fact on what I have seen, I'd be a little disappointed if we don't improve by 3-4 wins over last season.

Feel sorry for the Knights. Have got the rough end of some poor decisions from the refs. That was no 8 point try and the penalty which got the Warriors down field to get their 2nd try was poor.

New season, same old Tigers. Stupid penalties and mistakes costing trys. Both of Gold Coast's trys were quite preventable with both coming off the back of penalties.

Good result for the Novacastrians. Was up there on Saturday arvo. Brilliant second half. Thought the Warriors play makers really let them down. SJ in particular played poorly.

Could be wrong but it wasn't on the TV guide. Pretty poor how not even the Friday night games are on GEM.
