Some good scores around the place. I'm happy with 2056 after forgetting to fill my team in round 1 last year. 6/8 of my midfielders cracked the ton (looking at you O'Meara) and my young guys performed well overall.

2057. The rookies i fielded cost me 121 points. It is starting to annoy me how similar some teams are, I think The Traders have kind of ruined some of the fun. Teams just look stupidly similar this year, everyone jumping on the same guys. You think you have a good pod and then bam the traders name drop him and his ownership shoots up to 25%.

Or maybe I am just salty because all the popular picks that I didn't choose killed it.

Yeh, it's given me a bit of hope. As long as I don't **** it up!

GWS getting smashed hurt me with all of Shaw, Greene and Kelly only getting around 80. Taranto didn't do much either.

I never had kelly. But i traded all 3 of the others out late. Downgraded shaw to murphy (technically a win based on price, but not by much). Greene became t.miller (win) taranto was a part of the greene downgrade but also includend me dropping hannan for weideman to get grundy. Overall about even in the end. But shaw and some other trades i forget became steele whe.

All in all that equates to exactly what it looks like. I did 600 circle trades for 3 hours before full lock out. And in the end i was one of the slightly luckier ones.

Pretty much all of us are looking at dud rookies. And how to manage them. There is always hope in this game because there is always good and bad luck week to week

Something needs to change next year - everyone is getting 2k+ scores on the first round with basically the same players. You can see why people are shifting to other games. Maybe a variable player cost based on selection % like some EPL leagues.

Solid start, few scores under 60 but seems like people copped a bit worse in terms of rookies than i did with Taranto and Barrett being my only bad rookie scores. Mccarthy underwheelming also, couldve had a much bigger score.

+3 Dusty loophole was nice, Laird was amazing also. -3 Jack Martin (Taranto lucky)

Happy with selecting Kruezer, Zak Jones and Gaff as slight POD's (all under 10% ownership)
Shoukd of stayed strong and kept Miller in my team, went Isaac at the last moment and to get the $$ to do that I went Treloar to Stevens

don't agree at all.
The Traders simply look at the numbers, just like me and you, do your research and you can even find gems they don't talk about.
They didn't mention Joel Smith (Melbourne) but he was always on my radar and was looking good for 60+ until his injury.
Same with Kruezer and Gaff. Hardly mentioned but obvious picks for mine

Still, only my 2nd year playing Fantasy and first pre-season actually planning my team so not too unhappy (though I could have scored higher).

Kicking myself that I had Butler on the bench and Picket on the field though.

Can somebody please explain to me why mathew boyd is not picked by alot of teams.

His lowest score last year was 85 thats in it self is amazing.
