Very frustrating quarter, we looked to be clicking in the first quarter and then it all went to s**t after that, we're lucky to still have a lead.

We lost all system in our forward line and looked like a bunch of Auskick kids all scrambling around the ball with no clue what we were doing.

Only some GOAT Acres magic got us a goal against the flow.

Both Longer and Long aren't up to it, would prefer Hickey or Lonie, or Gilbert and Coffield.

McCartin seems to have vanished after the first 10 minutes too, is he injured or concussed again?

We can’t get first use of the footy cos both longer and hickey gets smashed in the ruck every fu**in week

Not watching this game and it sounds like he is struggling, but Longer does not get smashed in the ruck every week.

He gets smashed around the ground, but rarely in the ruck.

Blake has done some really good things today.

For someone who is such a reliable shot at goal, it's so frustrating watching him butcher basic 20m passes. He did 3 in a row in the last few minutes of that qtr.

Scrappy game - I still hate the way we handball to stationary players or playes with their back play. Apart from Steven & Acres too many of our mids are not prepared to use their legs to break out of conjestion.

Roberton, Steven, Acres & Billings doing well but small defenders & Carlisle & Paddy are struggling.

Our skills are still wanting, lucky we are playing last years wooden spooners.

I'm really ****en concerned about the teams lack of confidence in Billy Longer. He's obviously been instructed to handball off every time he gets possession, and the boys won't even kick to him when he's wide open.
If he's that ******* useless then why is he even in the ****en side? And what the **** does that say about Hickey if he's even worse than Billy?
Marshall will soon be our number one ruckman.

They are both very very ordinary. Game has gone past plonkers like Longer who offer nothing around the ground.

Paddy has had a rough run at getting games. Let's give him a fair run this season. His been below average, but his got less than 30 games under his belt which isn't that much considering hes been on our list for nearly 4 years.

True, I think you take the bad with the brilliant moments with Blake. Hopefully he can minimise the proportion of bad moments this year.

Are people how have people forgot how good Longer was last year.

Why must we always have a scapegoat? Our decision making is shocking and that's the biggest area that hasn't been fixed since Richo has been coach. We're drilling bombing the footy in

Longer was not good last year. He was serviceable at best. He was good in comparison to Hickey who was atrocious in the games he played.

Our ruck stocks are amongst the worst in the league.

He looks s**t today. He can’t run to cover his player so if not marking and kicking goals is s liability. At the ground hes hard to watch. I would get him back to Sandy and hope he gets some confidence there. Battle would at least be a bit more mobile.
