Just got back from overseas with patchy interwebs so not up with it atm. Do i read right that NOD is in but Sharp not? Even after that period for Peel, then coming and kicking 2 goals only to be put back out by the returning McVee? Also, heard we got across the line against Hawks. May have to watch the replay.
Be mad if you don't.;)

Why is every game a danger game when we are playing well?

I don't know about every game ... I don't really think Melb, Rich, Blues, WC were "danger games". And the others were against decent opposition and/or away.

But now the danger is not so much the opposition, but more to do with the fact we are now at the point where a loss would usually be around the corner. Apart from Geelong in 2022 (16 on the trot), the longest winning streak for any side in recent years is in the 8 to 10 range.

When Sydney were minor premiers a few years back, they lost to Richmond (wooden spooners with 2 wins for the year) at the G. These things can happen. I think the loss we are bound to have will be the Brisbane game, but you just never know if that loss will come sooner.

yep, been seeing that exact pattern since i was a boy.

this is such a danger game. Away, after a big win, down a captain and an often match saver, and a star mid. Other side low on the ladder but finally got some momentum. Hope we come out hard in the first and put up a good score to drown any Don's hope quickly.

Excited to see Scherri in, NOD over Sharp for Wags is a interesting call and O Mac over Davies for Moose is a little bit disappointing but not surprising

What are your thoughts on our 3 changes???

NOD probably ends up taking the "winger that plays close to defence" role that Wagner plays. Better like-for-like for that role than Sharp - Wagner is tasked with winning contests there. Scerri in should mean Freddy can play more wing-forward. Maybe Reid gets a midfield time boost?

Missed opportunity to see what Davies looks like at AFL level.
