The problem is , if we wanted someone to run with Betts, we probably didn't have anyone better. Not a job for Armo.
( I read a post where someone else here considered Betts was out of form , based on recent DT points, I think it is more likely that after becoming a leading goalkicker in the early rounds, he started to get tagged more heavily ).

Miles? It's not that I don't think Baker did a bad job or anything, just I feel he's lost some of his agility and as such Betts was always going to turn him inside out on occasion where you'd almost then consider the option. Howard is too raw still for mine, I can see him having 1 or 2 games where he'll stand out and you'll say he can play but then get totally stitched up and be useless for the rest.

Dempster would be a candidate for this role once he reaches full fitness.

Players like Betts are not just about speed and agility though. He is one of those who finds ways to sneak off from his opponent and then suddenly there he is alone in the goalsquare at exactly the wrong time.
IMO Baker would be very hard to sneak off from.
