would love some clarity on chad cornes, would love to trade him + s.browne for either judd or hodge (i think ablett is out of my reach, and i scored 2252 wihout him this week). happy for cotchin to sit on the bench for half a dozen rounds

i've also got too many backline youngsters for my liking...currently have; bock, johncock, milburn, shaw, b.wilkes, s.thompson, wonna and bradshaw and urquhart on my bench. might have to wait a few weeks for a clear option to emerge, really want to see if j.mac from brissy can keep up his form, drummond might be a good option if he drops in $$.

happy with the forward line of brown, pav, deledio, roo, porps, gian and buddy

Bartel has a B/E of 146 this week, so he may get cheaper if you can afford to wait another week.

I can't decide between getting Bartel or Harvey, am thinking Bartel as my Roo boys are struggling atm and it's prob safer to go for a bloke in a winning team. This is just 1 of abnout 10 options I am tyring to come up with for this week.

I don't know if Ablett has been stealing all of Bartel's SC points or if he's just terribly out of form. Either way it's probably best to wait and see how goes over the next couple of weeks, if he keeps putting in sub-100 performances he might not be the best pickup.

Go option 1 or Cooney & Goodes

I grabbed Boomer last week. Great value for around $480K and almost 110 average

Only have 5 trades left but would love to know what Mark Williams is going to do with the Chad, has anyone heard? If hes going to play out the year then i will straight swap Palmer for him, cause i think Palmer has just backed off a little lately and could be looking at a rest soon

Ablett & B.Harvey :thumbsu:

Ablett is a freak & is a must to get:)
Harvey is still avg. over 100pts & is as cheap as he is going to get imo

Bartel is a strange one atm. I was at the game yesterday & as expected Port was giving Ablett plenty of attention & Bartel seemed to be getting free quite a bit & also seemed to be getting a fair bit of the ball so I was a bit surprised to see such a low SC score from him:confused:
Also was a bit surprised with Chornes's score every time he went near the ball in the first half he just couldn't get it right was having an absolute shocker & in the second half got some cheap possessions so was very surprised to see him score so well:eek:.

So after all that rambling:o I would wait a couple of weeks & see what Bartel does;)

I think I have narrowed it down to two choices.

Current team is

Mattner, Kennelly, Johncock, Shaw, Milburn, Cornes, Ibbo - Proud, Myers

Ablett, Hayes, Stevens, Palmer, Cotchin, Ebert - Sewell, Browne

Cox, Symmonds - Hampsen, West

Brown, Johnson, Pavlich, RoK, Porpz, Chapman, Rioli - McKinley, Valenti

$137 in the bank. Trades = 10

I am thinking I will hang on to Sewell this week as he won't lose money not playing.

Option 1: Browne > Ward, Rioli > Franklin
Option 2: Browne > Ward, Ibbo > Bock

Option3: Any suggestions?

I can actually make Ibbo > Bock without trading down Browne, but it apperars he may have run his race at Carlton, with players seem to be coming back from injury. This would also allow me to get on Ward, I don't know too much about him though is he set for a run of a few games?

I realise my mids need upgrading as I am starting 3 rookies, but they seem to be holding there own for now and I have a couple of weaker games coming up. There area also a lot more gun mid options about it seems and Boomer and Barts may stay low for another week I hope.

Ibbo and Rioli both have B/E's of 100 this week and approx sdame average. With Franklin against the Roo's this week he may just go mental.

Thoughts and advice appreciated men.

Cheers

Plenty of handball receives + not enough hardball gets + clangers = disappointing SC score

Haven't seen his stats though

I would've waited a week to grab Mitchell, has a B/E of 147 this week.

Otherwise, that's a great team, Bachar.:thumbsu:

I'd go Rioli>Buddy. Rioli looks to have run his race.

Wouldn't be so sure about Buddy running riot this week though. Am only going off the top of the head, but I can't remember him ever kicking any big bags vs Nth. May be wrong though.

I'm considering a few different trades. Scored a paltry 1900 this week, and am sharpening the axe as we speak. Problem is...only $20k in the bank, and only 7 trades left.
BACKS: Chornes, Shaw, Newman, Gilbee, Birchall, Ibbottson, SDT (Myers & Proud)
MIDS: Ablett, Bartel, Dal Santo, Kornes, Stevens, Palmer (Wellingham & Cotchin)
RUCKS: Cox, Simmonds (Hampson & Renouf)
FORWARDS: Franklin, J Brown, Riewoldt, Pavlich, ROK, S Johnson, Rioli (Reimers & N Thompson).

Need to free up some coin. Am seriously considering trading Cox down to a rookie, and using that to upgrade (probably Myers). Don't rate Rucks in SC, and I'm thinking Cox is done. Thinking about Rioli>>Fev too.
Any thoughts?

North haven't be able to contain the tall forwards of late;

Brown and Bradshaw - 6
Mooney - 7
Pavlich - 8

in the last three weeks.

Go option 1 or Cooney & Goodes

I got Goodes last week. So if I'm going to go for Cooney, his partner in crime will have to be someone like Black or Judd, or Thompson. But I'm sure Harvey will regain some form, and Ablett is a must have as Hawkmad said... so I'm leaning toward option 1. All I need is for Ablett to have ONE bad week, perhaps a minor injury in the opening minutes that sees him miss the rest of the match... then after two weeks or so I'd be able to get Cooney AND Ablett... whilst already having Goodes. Top 3 midfield scorers = bliss.
