Parish, Cripps, Cogs or Neale VC

Cogs and the Giants love beating on weaker sides. Could be another 140+ for him

Neale in a Lions bounce back against the Saints at home also appeals

Dees play in the last match of the round, so Oliver or Gawn look like safe C options

Captain decision so important this round with lots having just 16-18 scorers

VC Walsh
C Darcy - if Meek is dropped, otherwise C Neale

BTW I'm posting this to make sure I don't chicken out of C Darcy - going with my gut again!

Parish vc
Into Darcy c

I bought Darcy 2 weeks ago for this fixture
Hoping that meek is dropped cause it could be a 150 if he rucks solo
Inspired Jason Sudeikis GIF by Apple TV+

If you have Darcy, wouldn't you rather VC than C him considering he is more prone to stinkers? 5 scores under 100 this season vs 4 over 100. Still got Neale and Oliver to play after as safety net.

Neale, Oliver, Gawn, Sicily only real options

Probably Neale > Gawn

unless Pittonet is back then VC Cripps
As of last week Pittonet was still listed as 5-7 weeks away.

I'm gonna break every rule and put the C on a debutant if Walsh doesn't deliver as VC.

But it's all good, because Walsh is gonna deliver as VC
The new recruit c rule is stupid.
You trading in a player in super coach has zero effect on that players performance.
If you think they are a good captain option pick them, new recruit or not.

I mean that's why I'm going to.

But you should never underestimate the terrible wrath of the SC gods, mate.

If you disrespect them, they will rain fire, retribution and injury-affected shitscores on you

Do you really think the SC gods didn't flark the new owners of English who immediately VCed him?

Thay flarked them and they flarked me in the process.

I've seen it too many times mate - that's why I took the VC off English...

The rule used to be no friday night captains.
They always fail. etc etc
Its superstition.
Its what ever we choose to be paranoid about at the moment.

Paranoia is a strong word.

It paid off when I took the VC off English and put it on Oliver.

I believe, quite sincerely, that everything in the universe is connected with everything else. I believe that a vast majority of these connections are undetectable by mere humans.

When the cosmos has an opportunity to deliver a life lesson to a sufficient quantity of entities, it will intervene and do so.

So if a high enough number of people do a stupid thing e.g. put their rent money on a 'sure thing' in a horse race, or trade in Tim English and stick the VC straight on him, the cosmos rubs its hands together and flarks with them.

Call it superstition or whatever you want, but it's the reason why every kent pleads with people not to 'break' their POD.

Because if every kent climbs on chasing points or whatever then the cosmos will intervene and deliver a harsh lesson

Picking a captain is hard enough I reckon.
Taking in the 1 billion things that can effect a score per week.
Without adding extras.
Anyways.
Back your captain pick I reckon.
