It is likely one player will be a spare for tomorrow so we will have 14 players missing in action. Spare, Gibson, O'Meara, Frawley, O'Rourke, Birchall, Hodge, Ceglar, Stratton, Fitzpatrick, Rioli, Surman, Lewis and Cousins. The BHH senior team are sitting on top of the ladder with 10 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw which is an outstanding effort given we have had so many HFC and top BHH players missing during the season. Senior BHH players missing in action this week are O'Donnell, Bond, Billy Evans, Hams and Kennedy. The development team are sitting in second place on the ladder with 8 wins and 5 losses however they have played one more game than third placed Casey who have 8 wins and 4 losses.

I'll be going to watch the development team play on Sunday because of the disgraceful decision which sees the development team shafted to Sunday so the women's team can play the curtain raiser for the senior game. AFL Vic's decision to scrap the development league is an appalling decision based on the high cost of running the competition. What a load of total rubbish [substitute more appropriate expletives], the money spent on the development league is a mere drop in the ocean compared to the money thrown at the women's league. The detrimental impact on the development of young players coming out of the TAC will be significant and certainly impact the standard of local footy.
