With reports of Cox missing the rest of the year, I'm thinking of getting rid of him now, which will give me the spare cash I need to upgrade Krakouer.

Cox ---> Fraser
Krakouer ---> Deledio or Wirrpanda (I'd be 2k short of getting Aaron Davey)

What do you think of these trades?

I was pretty sure I'd be trading Rich for Pendles this week but after their scores on the weekend, I think I'll wait another week and reassess.

In my own team I'm down to 3 trades but with $480k in the bank .

Will probably do Rich >>> Pendlebury as an upgrade but that's the last of my trades until the finals.

Just looking at the wife's team and she has $880k and 8 trades... Happy days.

Drummond is coming in this week for Dawson who has peaked IMO.

Pendlebury for K.Cornes looks to be the other straight fwd upgrade.

Those two should cost me the princely sum of about $25k!!

I was pretty sure I'd be trading Rich for Pendles this week but after their scores on the weekend, I think I'll wait another week and reassess.

If you are able to, i'd hold off trading Krakouer for a couple of weeks and wait for Pavlich to drop. According to TooSerious he could be as little as 420k two weeks after he comes back.

I only have 4 trades left and with Adcock out i'm not sure wether to trade for him for Drummond or not. I'm leaning towards playing Rance/Broadbent off the bench as cover for the rest of the year. My only concern though is that I've got both Grimes and Broughton starting on the field and that would mean a very inexperienced backline. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I decided not to trade last week so I still have 9 trades left. [I'm going for league win, not overall].

So I'll do Rich to Pendlebury, who will start to regain form as his match fitness comes back.

Then next week I'll do Cornes/Gilbee/Hurn to Drummond [Hurn the least likely suprisingly], as well as Krakouer to Didak/ROK/Chappy.

Following week I'll trade Liam Anthony in for a rookie, and upgrade my consistent donut scoring 2nd ruck for Fraser, and my side will be pretty much complete. The remaining trades will be burnt on whatever tickles my fancy / injuries come finals time.

Three weeks of forgetting to trade [due to uni exams etc.] has now given me the luxury of having too many trades.

You probably won't have the trades to spend the $400K

I reckon you are better off sideways trading for the LTI at this late stage

Really depends upon how many trades you have left. You have four rookies which is two to many. You may consider Rich a keeper (Entirely up to you) but that still leaves Anthony, Zaharakis & Dangerfield. They are the ones that need to go.

Zaharakis is not currently playing (injured?), is worth $262k and has a BE of 92.
Dangerfield is playing, is worth $309k and has a BE of -27.
Anthony is playing, is worth $205k and has a BE of -109.

Based on the above info, and depending on how many trades you have left, I'd say Zaharakis is your man.

Both Dangerfield and Anthony are likely to play out the season and are good cover for your bench. If your determined to keep Rich (He's going from my team), then that would pretty well finalise your midfield.

For the purposes of making money, the Trade of Houlihan >>> Hurley looks the right one.

But can you trust Drummond to play every week. He is very injury prone and has never played more than 14 games in one season.

That is true, but you could also say the same about Hodge with his groin issues this year. Brisbane will play finals so no early finish for Drummond, however if Hawks drop a couple in coming weeks blokes like Hodgey will be put on ice early in prep for next year.

Would it be worth going Hasleby to Pendlebury this week, then Walker to Riewoldt next week? Got 8 trades left at the moment, with 255k in bank. I was thinking I should upgrade Hill before Haselby, but Pendlebury is at such a tempting price...

sorry, had 7 trades, but traded out Rich for Pendlebury [6 trades]remaining as he is a more consistant scorer, and in a better team, which usually equates to more points. am just not sure what to do now, as reports are flowing in now that the Weagles may send Cox away for season ending surgery, although I do have cover in the rucks (Vickery) the extra money picked up from Cox could upgrade Houlihan next week!

West Coast have 4 wins so IMO we won't be seeing him again this year.

Grimes -> Post to make me about $350,000 and give me a defender who can cover injuries in finals.

I'll sit on that extra cash and wait for Pendlebury and Reiwoldt to bottom out next week (hopefully), then do Rich -> Pendles and Warren -> Reiwoldt.

That gives me 2 trades left For LTI (of which Cox may take one )

Awesome idea, thanks bud, i am not going to trade him out, as him underdone is going to score a solid 60 rather than an outstanding 55 from most other ruckmen. Tippet just may be the man.
