I know it's a bit early but...

Which forward (premium) should i get? other than: Goodes, Pav, Harvey, Fyfe or ROK.

Options:
Johnson
Franklin (not sure about injury??)
Petrie
Cloke
Chapman
LeCras

Also looking at SJ but with Chapman is two Cats too much to cover in the forward line?

IMO not SJ, has a dangerous bye, mix that with his scores of late have settled down a bit, i'd go Cloke out of that pick personally.
I know it's biased, but he is in ripping form, has no bye left and is in a quality side. If Collingwood had Geelongs bye, i'd say SJ.

Harris > Callinan

Buckley/Hibberd > Swan

I know Callinan has the bye but gotta get Swan this week while still less then 400k.

I lose my Back Mid link by trading Hibberd/Buckley but feel Puopolo and the one I don't trade is cover enough for the backs.

This leaves me Andrew Swallow as M7

Leaves 6 trades and enough cash to trade Mzungu/Smith to Syvia based on BE after they both play in round 17.

Leaving Smith/Mzugu as F8

Thats the plan anyway leaving 5 trades for injuries and the mentioned back ups

So thoughts people on the original idea of Do I trade out Hibberd or Buckley out this week?????????

Hibberd = greater JS but no cover in GF on the off chance I need it. Higher BE this week. Side is struggling

Buckley = Lower JS, Lower BE, No byes so cover every round. Plays in gun side so lots of ball to be had.

I want to bring in Adcock and Montagna over the next two weeks to complete my team.

Question is would it be better to have 4 trades left and no money or 3 trades left and $180k? Downgrading rook > Callinan, would get me the $180k.

The only worry for finals is that I have Selwood and Chapman. Hopefully I can finish 2nd in my league and have an easyish first round match where I don't have to use a trade. If I come 4th I'd prolly have to trade one.

Watson -> any mid I want

Who do people think is the best option, already have Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Pendlebury and Mitchell.

Was thinking either Priddis with an easy run home, maybe Daisy, want to avoid players with finals byes so that rules out Murphy, Bartel, Chapman etc.

Any ideas fellow dters?????

I like Shiels or Rockliff. Might've missed out on some obvious ones but they offer a bit of 'uniqueness' and is good for a score every week.

Vickery -> Lobbe
Knights -> Chapman

Leaves me 6 trades and ~$72k.

Gunning to win my money league, so Im banking on a top four finish and a win in the first week of finals to eliminate the Cats factor, which shouldn't be an issue given I am the highest scoring team in my league - although a minor hiccup this week with my captain choice (Boyd) v my opponent (Ablett) and I still only lost by 20 odd points....

Then all I have to worry about is covering Carlton players (2 DEF - Gibbs/Scotland, 1 MID - Murphy) in the 3rd week. I'm thinking of holding tight on the DEF and banking on bench coverage, then possibly upgrading the MID to an Ablett if he continues scoring like he is.

I would go for either Priddis or Shiels. Priddis is in great touch and doesn't look like slowing down, after these next couple of rounds he has a fairly easy run home in which he should dominate in (Freo, WB, Richmond, Melbourne, Essendon, Brisbane, Adelaide). TBH i would probably pick up Shiels, scores highly consistantly and also has a fairly smooth run home except for a bye in two weeks, he also gets to play at Aurora twice which is usually a very high scoring ground.

Seriously considering trading Dawes to N. Roo, they're only 15k apart and with 20k in the bank it could be a bargain pick up, but it will leave me with 2 trades. What to do?

I'd keep that trade up your sleeve. I'm in the same position with Dawes and 3 trades. Hating him, but just think it's too risky to have only 2 trades left with so many rounds to go.

Team looks like this, 7 trades, <5k in the bank.
B; Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Birchall, Rawlings, Fisher, Heppell (Stanley, Puop, Toy)
C; Swan, Boyd, Pendle, Murphy, Sheils, A. Swallow (Mzungu, Jacobs, Prestia)
R; Cox, Smith (Tippet, Gorringe)
F; Franklin, Fyfe, Johnson, Cloke, Sylvia, Petrie, Riewoldt (Howe, Dahlhaus, Krakouer)

Option A - Save trades
Option B - Just Prestia->Callinan, leaves 6 trades which is reasonable and cash in the bank
Option C - Option B + Smith->Goldstein, was lucky enough to not have Sandi and suprisingly few jumped on Goldy, could net 30ppg+
Option D - Option B + Swallow->Ablett, Swallow frustrates me and this leaves me with the ultimate midfield, also could net 30+ppg and a lock in captain option

Team looks like this, 7 trades, 289,000 in the bank.
B; Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Shaw, Heppell, Adcock, Stanley, (Otten Puopolo, Toy)
C; Ablett, Swan, A. Swallow, Cotchin, Selwood, Bewick (Hibberd, T Mzungu, Mundy)
R; Cox, Z Smith (Lobbe, Sandilands )
F; Franklin, Fyfe, Goodes, Sylvia, Petrie, N Riewoldt, Didak (I Smith T Lynch (GC) C Richardson )

Option A - Save trades to league game
Option B - Trade Bewick to Chapman, Mundy to Pendelbury
Option C - Trade Sandi For cash
Option D - trade Cotchin to Boyd and Mundy to Pendelbury
