Changes and all that in here.

No injuries known from the Roos game, Barrass and others offered nothing but fines, Worpel should be fit and able this week.

Go at it.

Got taught a lesson by them at marvel last year. Need to make amends, particularly because it sealed my daughter turning towards Carlton (mums influence) who were doing well at that point of the year.
Hard to drop anyone after an 85pt win but if I had to suggest anyone it would be Shammy for Worp. CJ sub.
If Sis is fit then, not sure, nice selection squeeze to have. Back line has been well balanced.

You're thinking two years ago. Last game we played was the 5 point win in Tassie.

Saints have some stars but they're largely dependent on a blue collar midfield and outlier performances from their youth. If you let them outwork you, they can cause problems.

The Fremantle game is a good example. Freo weren't bringing the effort and were getting slaughtered at clearance/stoppage. The moment they equalised in the last quarter the Saints looked impotent.

I am ambivalent, I seek no change and continue with the same team for mine.

I ask a question, where does Siss, Worps, Scrim and Dear sit?

CJ offers explosiveness and dynamics.
Ramma offers a new dynamic, of second efforts and ruck craft.
Butts provides a mid dynamic.
Seamus is as hard as a cats head and needs continuity, his sub work seemed spot on.

All in all, I have no fecken idea.

Because of our tough run home these type of games are an absolute must win if we are to make the finals let alone top four.

I'm thinking maybe Worpel and Sicily will be back but can't think of who would go out.

Possibly 2 of CJ/Seamus/Butler

Maybe Ramsden makes way for Dear or Lewis but I think after kicking 3 he will be safe for at least 1 more week

I like Scrimshaw but hard to squeeze anyone else out rn

Selection will be interesting.
When Sam spoke on Friday it sounded like Worps only really started to get moving this week, I wouldn’t be surprised if he missed another week.

I think regardless we will probably rest Gunners for the trip to Freo in 2 weeks, so maybe we bring Dear back and try to get him a full game in. The only thing that probably stops him would be fitness.

I know it won’t be a popular choice, and yes I know he kicked 2 goals, but I would drop CMac, he can’t get near it, and maybe a run at box hill would be good for him.

CJ back to sub.

Out:
Butler (was nowhere)
Seamus (unlucky)

In:
Worpel
Sic.

Would be tough on Butsy who was fantastic against both Adelaide and the Dogs in must win games.

I think we should give Worpel another week just to make sure he's fully over his injury. Sam said it only started seeing improvement late this week, so get him cherry ripe for Fremantle.

Outs: Seamus (unlucky)
Ins: Sicily

Ha! You're right. It's personal and still burns.
Have we beaten them there since? I still have a grudge to bear

Worpel and Sicily automatic inclusions. Prefer Dear over Max but will be hard to drop him after his best game albeit against an undersized, poor defence. Most likely outs in order Butler (just not doing enough), Mitchell (unlucky), Ramsden (keeping the seat warm for Dear/Lewis) and Jiath or Morrison battling for the 1 wing position in my opinion. Mackenzie gets a few games to try and cement his spot. Scrimshaw and Lewis play for Box Hill this week.
Must put time in into Sinclair and Wanganeen-Millera. The rest of the team are foot soldiers.

About correct.

We have a really settled back line and I don't want Sicily to come in and upset that. However he is our Captain and has to come in so hope he plays forward of the center.
Meek and our center group is also doing very well with Nash and Nuke in excellent form. If Dear is fit and ready he will replace Ramsden (sorry have no room for both and Dear is the better one)
One thing I noticed to improve. There were 3 or 4 times that North took the ball right through the center from back to front for goals. Hope they check the replays and address that.
Have no doubt about this match too.
Hawks by 50.

From the Box Hill game only Dear really demanded senior consideration

Reeves and Mraz also were very good too but there is no spot for them this season while the first choice are fit.

Then we have the 3 injured guys. Sicily and Worpel if fit, pick themselves and someone will be unlucky to be dropped. Scrimshaw was in the 2s when injured so the coaches might make him go back there. Which is sad as I think he's played okay this year when he's been able to, but a horrid injury run.

In: Worpel, Sicily, Dear

Out: Butler, Mitchell, Ramsden.

All 3 omissions a bit stiff. Especially Ramma who looked to grow after finally nailing that goal the nerves were gone (new it was mostly nerves as he kicks okay at box hill). However come finals i'd feel more comfortable with Calsher lining up for an important goal. He's got finals experience and just has more speed and agility.

Everything we do now needs to be about winning the game in front of us and getting the peices we need in place for finals.

Day, Worpel, Dear and Sicily I think need to get into in the side for a premiership chance. Lewis hasn't played so long so I'll take it as a bonus if he can get in and still play at his best. The forward line is so different from when he last played to, he's barely played with Watson, ginnivan, Chol or dear. He will have a full game next week at box hill against a struggling Sandringham, so hopefully can kick a bag. Box Hill will have a strong side if we do end up dropping Mitchell, butler and Ramma and scrimshaw coming back too.

There's no If in Dear. He was exceptional start to finish at Box Hill clunking everything. Kicked 2.2 but handed off a few as well. 12 marks but took another great one a split second after final siren.

Was like Stuart Loewe out there.
