alot of under achievers today. Chapman and Bartel easily best. Harley, Byrnes, Gillies, Varcoe all a bit ordinary.

as the 'people' in question, i could ask the same about giving votes to hawkins. did nothing today IN MY OPINION except miss easy set shots.

or for that matter SJ, with eff% of 52 and 7 clangers.....why do people feel the need to question and criticise other peoples votes? just leave it be as we could all argue away till the cows come home.

fair enough, Im soft on hawkins, enright unlucky to miss, but hawkins has been a star in the making the last few weeks, around the ground play/pressence is a revelation, just needs to kick straight, but hes not the only one.

SJs first half effort was brilliant, set the pace of play.

Hard to pick 5 this week. Pretty ordinary effort. Crows will be a good side in the near future IMO. Give them a few more years of development.

Thought Harley was very ordinary. Hogan was poor until the last quarter, when he had some impact. Gilles didn't do much, but neither did a lot of more experienced players. Just wished another small forward besides Chapman stepped up. Needed something from Varcoe/Stokes/Byrnes. Out of the 3, Varcoe was the best, but was still below par. Stevie J came out ok, but seemed fairly rusty. Hopefully he will be back in the groove next week.

Tenace was clearly worst on ground for mine. How was his kick across goal in defence in the 2nd term that missed the target and trickled out of bounds in the opposite pocket? Then a minute later he missed Ablett by 5m by hand. As useless as an ashtray on a motorbike.

5. Chapman - A fully fit and in form Paul Chapman means good things for the GFC.
4. Bartel - Is in some fine form.
3. Enright - Couldn't split him and Jimmy. Surely he'll be AA again this year. Is still such an underrated player.
2. Mackie - Should get AA this year.
1. Selwood - He gives me stiffy's.
