After a huge round of SC does anyone have trades left?

I have three left and I'm desperate to get Ablett back in (traded him out when he was injured ages ago and haven't had a chance to buy him).

And another problem is Broughton

At this stage I will probably just bring Ablett in and hope Shaw is named.

Impossible for me to trade this week, although I'm quite happy with my squad. Broughton, Franklin and Shaw hopefully return and I've got cover in all positions.

Would like to upgrade one of the following to Deleidio

Ellis
Trelor (Mid can swap with Baguley)
Pfiffer (Mid can swap with Baguley)

Have the cash and the trades just really unsure on which one to lose..any suggestions?

Ellis looking tired will be rested soon
Treloar probably safe (unless falls victim of GWS weekly rest policy)
Pfieffer job securitynot the best, but not hard to break back into the Port side if dropped

A lot of people will be trading out Thompson if he is suspended for 2+ weeks.

Did anyone watch Lake's game on the W/E?

Massive B/E of 150 this week, got 4 trades left thinking it's time to dump him for Tommy Bell ($355K diff), gives me bout $430K to then go Yarran for Waters ($130K diff), Watson for Barlow (bout $140k diff) and a forward such as Jack Riewoldt for Dayne Beams (bout a 150k diff).

Down to my last 2 trades and I'm fighting for a spot in the 8 in my cash league. Need to go all out!

Broughton -> H. Shaw
D.Martin -> Fyfe

Leaves me with $700 left in the bank and a pretty good side overall, with cover if I make finals. Picking the right defenders this year was really hard to nail.

Why on earth would you trade Dustin Martin out for?

If he is your weakest link in your whole team then I would hold the trade IMO of look to trade out someone else instead.

Just deposit the trade into my supercoach teams account instead. :D:thumbsu:

I guess it depends on the injury report but he had hamstring tightness late in the game and could miss this week.

Really desperate to get Fyfe in this week and Martin looks like the weakest link in my Mids and Fwds

MID: Gablett, Selwood, Mitchell, NDS, Barlow (Gibson, Couch)
FWD: Franklin, Sidebottom, Pavlich, S.Johnson, Dangerfield, Zorko, Fyfe (M. Johnson, Adams)

My main reason for getting rid of Martin is he plays a great half a game, then score dries up as he gets pushed to FF.

You planning on starting Bell? Not sure his job security will be that good with Waite, Robinson, Judd, Simpson all due to return.

That's a long time to hold Zaha mate.

Well it's the lat match before finals and I am still 1% out of the 8 :( Might as well use my final trade this week considering there's a big chance I won't make it anyway.

Lake > Waters which leaves me with $14k unused.

DEF: Waters, Carrazzo, Enright, H. Shaw, Fisher, Deledio, S. Shaw (Darley, Spurr)

MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Thompson, Watson, Priddis, J. Selwood (Gibson, Crozier)

RUCK: Naitanui, Mumford (Redden, Stephenson)

FWD: Franklin, Goodes, Martin, Beams, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, J. Riewoldt (Hall, Couch)

Fairly decent team if I make the finals. Need to win this week and have the guy above me lose.

Barlow is also a weak link. Takes a bit for him to get close to 100. Don't think I can trust him come finals so going Barlow to Murphy.

Martin (Richmond) got pretty good run over the finals, but can see why you would want Fyfe in your side.

Is Newman/Lake/Broughton to Fisher a waste of a trade?

Fisher seems to be finding the ball again and with games against Melb and GWS over the finals is very tempting at 359k.

Been sucked in by a couple of cheap bakmen already this season (Newman, Yarran) so worried Fisher might end up in the same boat.

newman and lake are devaluing more than an a greek drachma

Zorko I think has hit his top price, needs 103 to breakeven this week. Not beyond him obviously, but his average is 98.7 and that is usually how I go about cashing in cows.

Another reason, Marc Murphy has a B/E of 44 this week and is under 500k. You could actually make money doing this, but I am not sure.

Zorko is currently one of the best scoring forwards in the game. Surely you can trade someone else out, even if it means switching Zorko to the forward line.

I have Zorko as my 6th mid and my forward line is complete. Hes the last 'rookie' I need to upgrade. But its only something I was floating with.

Of course, it would only be a luxury trade at this point. Im conscious of a solid performing rookie starting to get tagged or having a role change or else, simply dropping in numbers. We've seen him start slowly in the last two games and he might simply start getting some extra attention now. Plus its always handy to have that point of difference with other teams.

Of course, im only looking at the numbers and doing some out loud thinking. I have a very easy game in all of my league finals this week and so may sit on my remaining trades and go for it in the finals instead.

It seems a bit extravagant because when if you take out Zorko's first score of 16 he's averaged a pretty consistent 107 over the following 10 games. Then you look at his next opponents coming up I personally wouldn't be predicting him fading. But who knows, it could be a masterstroke?
