Considering Steele > Hewett and Simpkin > Lambert. Annoyingly, I had Lambert instead of Steele in my round 1 team and flipped at the last second..

Do people think I should cut Ellis or Crouch?

M.Crouch doesn't strike me as a player thats going to go massive in fantasy but will always put up 80+, will make you a fair bit more money. Ellis has the potential for some massive games given his role, But at the same time he's reliant on other players feeding him the ball.

Personally i'd cut Ellis.

Think its a double downgrade for me this week. Jack Steele > Papley & Seedsman > Nathan Wilson with 239K in bank to do a solid midfield upgrade next week.

Yeah,all the talk of Steele taking up Treloars spot in the midfield made me take some interest in him this preseason but looking a his stats its hard to imagine he spent a heap of the time on the ball.

What do people think about Simpkin? thinking of just downgrading him to Papley at f6

I'm holding for another week unless he gets dropped, but if you don't have Papley then it seems a good move. I got Simpkin on the back of previous years where he has scored quite well and been DT-friendly, so this week's effort was disappointing.

What do you think of MacKenzie as a D6 to replace Harwood or Tipungwuti?

I'm looking at some pretty meh trades.
I wanna get Marcus Adams in and Cowan out, as I think Adams should get a decent amount of games and score alright.
Cowan probably won't really play too much I think.
I guess I'll keep Harwood for now and start one of him or Adams if that is the case.
Unfortunately I got very little money, so I am looking at having to make a trade somewhere else.

Thought about doing Crouch to Parish, as he looked pretty good and I can see them averaging about the same. I'll have cash left over to upgrade another week. Otherwise I am looking at downgrading someone like Barlow/D or S Martin to a Gray/Hickey. Like I said, not the best trades, but I like having good cover and I'd probably prefer not to trade a known gun.

This is under the assumption that Howe will play this week, but if he doesn't, I'll have to address him and target maybe McKenzie at the very least, depending on who I trade.
If I trade Martin to Hickey, I can get Kade Simpson/JJ.
If I trade Barlow/Martin to Gray, could only get maybe Trent McKenzie or Lonergan (I think I'm 1k short of Sheridan)
If I trade Barlow/Martin to Hickey, could trade Howe for someone like JJ or Rosa.

Will go Sidey > Zaharakis

Liked the look of Zaka against the Suns, and with the rest Essendon being so shit, the points have to go somewhere. Pockets me 120k which is better than a straight swap to Ward/Adams/Gray/Parker

It's risky but I can see him averaging over 105 if he stays fit.

Tipa only getting 36 means he also might be bumped, but only if someone like Byrne is named next week, there's no real other defensive rookie options.

Just looking back at his best season in 2014 and he had a few 100+ and 80+ scores but he will generally put up 50-60 most weeks. With all the rebounding options West Coast have now i don't see him getting enough of the ball to be fantasy relevant. Better than Tipungwuti and will probably make you a little bit of money but isn't really all that much better than someone like Harwood.

Watch both the Crouch brothers step it up this week at home in the Derby. They both played away last week. Looks like you have plenty of trade options.... I would look at one of them and leave this for a week.

Yeah , i thought Brad Crouch was pretty awful against North and still scored 87. I'm hoping once he gets going i'll be able to keep him for majority of the season.

J McGovern -> Johannisen
Mills -> Papley

liked to have kept Mills but put Hewitt on the field instead, hopefully Tipungwuti can do better this week

At this stage Steele > Papley
and Seedsman > whoever I will be able to afford. M Crouch looks like heading to the Bench.
I've gone Steele to Papley. Moved De Goey forward and Menadue mid.

Upgraded Howe to JJ.

Fugging Steele. :mad::mad:

I'm fairly happy with my rooks, got Papley, Hewett, Oliver, Davis, Adams, Cameron, McCarthy and Menadue already, so going sideways with some premos/midpricers:

Barlow > S.Gray (S.Gray looks like a scoring machine, Barlow's disposal and general slowness give me no faith in him staying in the team/scoring well without midfield time)
Wines > Ablett (Wines started with an 87, I'm confident he could increase that to a 95+ average after working back up to the pace of the game but with the funds available I think it's best to bring in Ablett now before he's worth 650k)
