Round 23 (Floating Round)

Hawks have been scheduled to play on the Sunday in round 23 vs Collingwood at 3:20pm.

What do you all think?? Is this in our favour as all other teams competing for the top 4 would have played before us, thus giving us the opportunity to rest players in the last round if we have top 2 locked up before our match on the Sunday.

Or is it of disadvantage that we get a day or two less to rest then the majority of the other finalists?

Or does it not matter because all clubs are having the following week off anyway?

Think the bye the week after makes it irrevelant. Dont think players will need a rest - if we win the first final a lack of games may be more the issue. In fact the whole bye round is just stupid. Dont know what they were thinking.

Pain in the butt time slot too for those of us living in in East Gippsland. Surely ladder leaders should have a Saturday game.
