Wasn’t able to attend yesterday unfortunately. I lost my shit when Punky kicked that goal. 1 of my 3 little ones (Mia is 5 and has a twin brother) literally pissed herself

I had to clean the mess but it was well worth it. The best part was the way he kicked it. Prime Punk with one of his signature snaps. 2nd time in 2 days I required a tissue thanks to him. Has brought joy to us for so many years. Still think he’s underrated outside of Hawthorn. A legend of hawthorn AND the AFL. Fantastic person as well and always happy to have a chat with supporters he’s never met in his life. Every time I’ve spoken to him has been an absolute pleasure. You wouldn’t know he was an elite AFL player if he was wearing plain clothes. He speaks and holds conversations with you regardless of who you are or what you do for a living. A genuine good guy which is rare these days. No ego whatsoever.

In terms of the game itself, I actually thought we were really good. If you didn’t look at the scoreboard until the end of the game you would think we had won by 70+. Inaccurate kicking for goal stopped what should have been an absolute thumping.

Definitely happy with the win though. Now for Brisbane. I think we’re a decent chance in this one. We’ve hit form at the perfect time and we need to keep rolling on.

Anyways, sorry about the massive paragraph. Had to show my love like the rest of you have. Let’s go!

Apparently if Fremantle beat the Bulldogs and Marvel by 100 points and we then lose to Brisbane by 100 points.

That Breust goal was one of the most enjoyable moments i've had at the footy in ages.

We are playing really well, if we'd been accurate early we could have won that game by 100 points. I just hope that our inaccuracy and the goals we conceded late won't cost us a spot in the top 4.

Agreed. I like what it says about Kozzie too - watching and learning from players that have been elite in your position is a good sign of a dedicated player and his recognition of Breust shows he understands how amazing Breust was in his role. I'd certainly be showing young forwards videos of Breust's elite crumbing and finishing.

No doubt Moorey, Gini and the Wiz have benefited immensely from having Punky around to help hone their craft.
