Haha how good would that be? :D

(Based on Collingwood winning by 12(ish), however a greater margin could see the Hawks finish 7th)

This can only be improved on by Sydney losing to the Tigers. Then we finish top and host the Crows in our Qualifying Final ;)

Only Cats, Hawks, Swans in premiership race with Eagles the smokey. Lose this and it's curtains for us too! Hope not to see ineffective forward entries and would like to see quick ball movement out of the backline. Also Hawkins should watch a tape of Kennedy from the eagles last night and see how many times he leads rather than just standing there with his hand up. Want to see McCarthy, Cowan, Ruggles and Bews stake their claim for a finals berth today! Go Cats

From the "starting 18" (never particularly reliable), swapping Blicavs for Guthrie or Bews would add better balance to our backline. Need a quick rebounder back there. Mackie accumulates and offensively does his job, but he's obviously very one paced at the moment.

Also I don't think Hawkins has the fitness or desire to get around like Kennedy does. Rest of the forward line don't create space nearly as well as West Coast were either. But it would be nice to at least see us try to operate in a similar vein.

"Oh please"
Just might blow up in your face if you're not careful

Didn't think there was too much wrong with seeds' post. Our A game is better than Melbourne's, as evidenced by the fact we're higher on the ladder and have a 8-2 record against fellow top 8 sides.

Just watching the last quarter of the West Coast/Adelaide game and I would love to see our forwards lead and be as proactive as the Eagles forwards.
That would be a dream but it won't happen and our forward line will be congested as ****.

Matty Knights on KROCK says Hendo is a strong look for GFC first final.

Not a guarantee but where he sits currently.

GO Catters

Geelong comfortably enough. Looking forward to today's game although will be watching my son's final at the same time!

Anyone else reeeeeeally nervous?
Yeah, but good nervous. It's September next week - smell of cut grass, Spring, Group 1 racing and FINALS FOOTBALL.

Scooter is gong to be on tripleM soon hopefully he lets us know how serious his injury is. Will post here any news.

Anyone else reeeeeeally nervous?

Yep, but I always do before a game. Being a Cats supporter during the 90's and early 00's tends to do that. ;)

if we get nervous playing Melbourne on our home turf

what will it be like against the Dawks next week?

but games like this are the ones we tend to loose
