Surely there will be a Sunday night game in Round 24?

Seven are broadcasting an AFLW game that afternoon, not to mention that night games will receive better ratings.

My guess is a 7.20pm Sunday game either Western Bulldogs v Fremantle, OR, Brisbane v Hawthorn.

There was also a Guardian article yesterday confirming the FTA Sunday afternoon AFLW games will be on Seven's main channel (in Victoria at least).

Gold Coast playing after Rnd 24 takes all the tension out of most games except Lions v Hawks (who will likely need to win to make the 8). Dogs v Freo won’t mean much until GC play.

To be fair, they also need to organise the grounds, flights, and suchlike.

Not suggesting that would take weeks or anything, but it would require a little over 20 mins.

Dogs V Freo should be the Sunday night game IMO.

Friday night would either be Brisbane/Hawthorn or Collingwood/Melbourne you'd imagine. The one that isn't Friday should be Sunday 3:15pm. I think there's less at stake with the Pies/Dees game so that might be Friday night.

Richmond/Geelong, North/Adelaide and West Coast/Sydney seem like Saturday games to me. The latter 2 near certainties to be Saturday.

Friday night belongs to the biggest teams, so surely you would give it to Brisbane. Our games always draw high ratings, the crowd will be sold out, or close to being sold out, and we're in the top 4.
